Weather-beaten Sculpture (Statue)

This time-worn sculpture portrays a youthful woman whose delicate features have been eroded by the relentless forces of nature. Despite the gradual deterioration, the statue maintains a dignified posture, faithfully preserving the artist's indulgent contours of the feminine form. Hanging from the figure's waist is a chain of ten darksteel links, long corroded by the effects of oxidation. Engraved upon the statue's Carcanet is a complex design of ten interlocking rings, forming a grand circle.

At the base of the Memorial, a deteriorating plaque reads:
