War between Amn and Waterdeep - Bendir's Stance

With the declaration of war between Amn and Waterdeep, unfortunately we see that diplomacy between the two nations has failed. Fortunately the nations of Cordor and Guldorand remain at peace, even as their allies war around them.

While Bendir has long had ties and friendship with both the people of Cordor and Guldorand, we will remain officially remain neutral in this conflict, even if it were to spill into war between Guldorand and Cordor.

While we expect that fighting will take place far from both the cities of Cordor and Guldorand, we offer sanctuary to those that wish avoid the conflict between the two great powers. This offer of sanctuary comes with the expectation that all aggression be left outside our walls.

Likewise, if danger does come to the cities of Cordor or Guldorand, Bendir stands ready to offer refuge to refugees on our lands. While we cannot guarentee your absolute safety from Andunorian threats, we will provide refugees with food, clothing and bedding where possible, and treat any wounds.

It is our continued hope that the nations of Guldorand and Cordor remain at peace through this conflict, and we will do what we can to assist in keeping such peace as able.
