Female Banite Spies on Arak and Sojourner

Upon Sojourners arrival in the Hub, a female human Banite clothed in dark colors by the name of Wren, slipped into the shadows. She moved to stand opposite side of the wall where Sojourner and Arak spoke.

Her company was a human male. Tall of fair complexion, neatly brushed back hair of shoulder length and light blonde. Clothing, brighter than the average dark and mysterious.

No cloak, shield, or weapon were present on him at the time.

They remained in close proximity until Arak's departure, when Wren disappeared.

Contract: Victor

I, Victor, accept the head of Lucius Blackhand as payment from the Void Cult for no less than one year of service to their cause and their agents. I hereby pledge to lend them all faculties and abilities to further their endeavors and am bound from knowingly creating or keeping knowledge that would injure them physically or otherwise. This bind will be in place so long as Victor remains a valued asset of the Void Cult throughout his one year of service. Should he be found to be unsuitable for service, or be discarded, the one year term will be terminated without prejudice.

Furthermore, should the Void Cult take up arms against the Minmir Zhentarim, Victor will act as champion among many in their efforts to thwart them. All strategic knowledge and might will be brought to bear and Victors term of service will be extended. Everyday the war is actively waged against the Minmir Zhentarim will be considered outside of the original term of service, and each day he is allowed to wage war against them will be added in addition to the original term of service. For example: should the war with the Minmir Zhentarim wage for one year, Victor will serve a total of three years to the Void Cult. Should overt action against the Minmir Zhentarim cease for over 140 days, or terms of surrender be accepted, this will terminate what would be considered active warfare.

Upon completion of these terms, should the Void Cult find Victors service of use, they will be granted options for extension at that time. Should these options not be exercised, the Void Cult will be granted first bid and preference should any other contracts be considered, in protection of their interests. Furthermore, any information garnered by Victor during his term of service will not be disclosed to any other entity outside of the known Void Cult.

Should the terms be broken by the undersigned, Victor, his soul will be rent into a thousand pieces and will suffer existence for 100 years as a slug.

Intelligence Report: Myon Infiltration

Communications between the Coronal Zathlan and Chancellor Isabel were found upon breaking into Coronal Zathlan's quarters. The following is a transcription from a letter written by Chancellor Isabel to the Coronal.

"Coronal

Your intelligence confirms ours. The threat from below has grown bolder, we cannot overlook the risk to both of our people. We have not always been in good standing, but it is imperative we find common ground in this.

In the interest of our two nations, I make my resources available to you when you are ready to strike. Together may we create a brighter future for all.

Isabel and Cordorian Guard Incident - 5.13.164DR

Badoc, Ronin and I were sneaking through Cordor to find the whereabouts of Isabels residence, when Ronin was spotted.

Suddenly Duster, Daemon Wade, Aldros Rivorndir, Dragos Rivorndir, Aralyn Cellance Recruit Mark Alley, and Isabel appeared from seemingly no where and started to questions Ronin as to her status as an outcast. They begun to arrest her, and I foolishly casted teleport on her for an escape, and I myself took a potion of attunement but I was struck down before the potion took effect.

All of this was a loss of my life in exchange for valuable information.

Isabel used the spell Wrathful Castigation with a very high power to resist it, which almost confirms her as a Shadow Mage of out beloved Dark Lady. We also learned the location of her personal quarters withing the Cultural District of Cordor call Secluded Manse, west side of the Cultural District on Nautilus street.

Lets not let me death be in vain, let us show the Cordorian guard the real meaning of loss.

May her darkness keep you.

Take back your dog, and return the coin agreed upon

Your spy "Wren" that feigned her departure from your organization could really stand to do a better job of holding discrete meetings. Rest assured she is once more on our list Zhentarim head hunters.

Unfortunatly her proposal for our skulls for your dogs return has been rejected with prejudice, you can have what is left.

Instead I would advise you pay the coin agreed upon at the Shadovar outpost, before Wren and the rest of you meet the same fate.

Another Message

Attack on sewers. Pontiff negotiations over returning Marley.

Eleven Andunorian and Void Cultists were there and attacked after calling for negotiations, this is seen as a betrayal. Pontiff has soft spot of Walvish, allowed him to get the corpses. The Gauntlet cannot accept this insult, will be moving to second Prong. Which seems to mean switching to active aggression in Sibayad and Underdark.

Khal-Dun no longer Admiral. Konstantin Hellbrecht was possessed by a demon, was exorcized. Rayne still in the guard, but implied that may not be in the future, too many last chances.

Threatened to kill Agnith, another guard, reason possibly related with Marley's kidnapping. Punched a wall in the barracks, broke her arm in the process.

Darrowdeep Meeting
Andunorians will be targetted for having enslaved and killed Darrowdeep members, a Blood Tithe, valued at 500.000. Each Andunorian head will be worth 5.000, ransoms are possible.

Plans
There is some plan being brewed to target Void Cultists. Details unknown.

A Mistake
I made contact with a man you should be familiar with. Leather jacked, bare chested underneath, tattoos, glowing red eyes, he was at the Lighthouse. I made contact with him, thinking him one aligned with us, I was mistaken.

The Insanity Engine Leak

It was confirmed that Sorin Auvir Mala was the leaker to the Insanity Engine project, and it was he who admitted to having done so after my interrogation. Sorin was one of the only individuals who had detailed research plans of the project, which were included with the leak. Amalie was not on the research team, and did not have access to detailed information. It is my belief that Sorin saw an opportunity to defame her when she mentioned the 'Nightmare Forge', despite this being a completely different topic entirely.

This note verifies her noninvolvement in this occurance.

Update: Daedric Snowshepard, Cordor (d4, m11, 174AR)

Keywords: Void Cult Merwyn (tiefling), new chancellor election (Cordor), Vigdis and Daedric observed together.

Update on Daedric Snowshepard.

----------------------------------------

Contacts identify the woman/tielfing that Daedric and Sorrow was talking to in the Shadowrealm to be one certain 'Merwyn' - known Void Cultist an cannibal. Her erstwhile lover, an elf, has retreated to the mainland and therefore her eyes are set on different on new schemes and plots. Reportedly dangerous and has a domicile in the wretched realm of Shadows.

Worryingly, too, Daedric has been observed together with Vigdis Odhinskarr, the Illmater knight who has given so much grief on the surface, primarely Cordor. She is identified as the 'ringleader' of their group. They were observed together when she was given note of being Pariah in Cordor whilst her other companions Gaderal and Sly have been exiled. Suspicion of being tied together, somehow.

   Elections in Cordor.

------------------------------------

Elections are reportedly going to be held in Cordor, challenging the incumbent doctor Providence.

There are three candidates who've voice interest:

High Watcher Konstantin Helbrecht

General Devon Marshal

Vice-Chancellor Varfogar Arrelanes

The first one is reportedly causing some tension and a likely candidate to win. He plans to put the known troublemaker Jach Springrunner as General which puts the current guard of Cordor in tension as they deeply distrust him. Fear of more tension in the city.

Shadow Egg and Potential Devil Threat to Halls

A group of six or so from Cordor including the Rivorndirs did come to the Halls all of a sudden claiming they had a meeting with Darnoth.

I did accompany and upon entering the Halls was greeted by a two dragons, one being Darnoth, the other a Steel Dragon by name of Hannara.

Group from Cordor presented them with a dragon egg tainted by shadow. Informed the egg was stolen from the Steel Dragon by shadow cultists and retrieved by the Cordor group.

Egg is to be protected here in the Halls by Darnoth and Hannara while the Cordor group attempt to find a way to purify the egg.

Darnoth warned us that the egg may attract attention of evil such as scaled devils known as Abishai. They must be destroyed without mercy.

Should the group fail to purify the egg, Darnoth will raise it against it's nature. He assured us this has been done successfully before but purification is obviously much preferred.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THE TWO NOTES BELOW

The two notes below, while not particularly relevant to Andunor as a whole, are penned by Khael'dar and come from the source "Salina Bailey".

Both notes contain information that primarily Guldorand was privy to. It is likely that "Salina Bailey" (and possibly Dusk) is Avalri DeLocke.

These notes below make it apparent that Khael'dar has established some form of information exchange with someone(s) in Guldorand in which he sells out individuals of the city in exchange for other information.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON DIS MEETING

The 'redacted' male drow within that is well-connected and giving information to Shield-Marshal Ivar Ferdamann is Khael'dar without a doubt for two reasons:

* He was the only male drow present for the described incident in which Theodor was goaded by the Void Cult.

* He is the only male drow that was aware I was the woman that freed Theodor Helbrecht from Guldorand's prison. He knows this because he was my accomplice in the act.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON "DUSK" NOTES

In the two notes below, Dusk has a meeting with a dark clad, hooded elven mage (who cannot apparently not speak elven because of a 'misunderstanding') named Caliban.

Caliban is a moniker that Khael'dar has commonly used when wandering outside of Andunor.

Caliban gives Dusk information about a drow house as well as information about the plague started in Guldorand by Marley Goodman (with the help of other Andunorians).

The notes that follow those two are a few of a handful of Dusk's other reports taken directly from Guldorand's Garrison. It is very clear that Dusk works with Guldorand to keep them informed about Andunor (and the Militia in particular), and Khael'dar has fed Dusk information about the city.

Labratory Breach Report

-----TOP SECRET-----

The State Magi Labratory was breached by former State Magi Initiate Anton Schmidt (Suspected alias of The Pontiff). He obtained access to the lab by forging a writ of authorization, which he presented to Markus Hawkwinter who he then attacked and slew using conjured vampires whilst the aforementioned was producing a key. Anton then appears to have made off with two(2) dangerous magical artifacts that were stored there, including the Brass Censer, an object of Far Planar origin designed to open rifts to it's place of origin for the purpose of allowing Far Planar aberrations passage to the prime. This object can be weaponized and it is recommended that the recovery of this object take the absolute highest priority,

The second object stolen was the Font, a device created by Odtgankawruh, otherwise known as "The Artificer" for the purpose of storing and transferring knowledge between beings, it is not inherently dangerous however it may contain designs for a powerful ship mounted cannon that was used to destroy parts of Sencliff.

It is suspected that the Void Cult is now in posession of one or both of these items, and that they may have acted on information given to them by The Artificer, or at her behest, given that she is the only one with knowledge of the Brass Censer, and an interest in recovering the Font.

On 'Merwyn'

I skimmed over the various boards while I was in the city

Firstly, a source I trust claimed to me long ago that Merwyn is actually a cover name for Herald. Or perhaps the other way around. I do not know. Nor can I say with a hundred percent certainty that this is the case at all.

I will note that while Herald was the most appreciable member of the cult, it was she who drew the blood of the Arcanum. Specifically: Exemplar Aun'rae.

I do not necessarily oppose this person being made a member, provided ample attonement is given (in whatever form it takes). But I do not advise it. A hand can only be bitten so many times.

Ellie,

Greetings. We are in fact, endarkened and enlightened to the ways of the void including the acceptance of the end of all things. It is hard to say whether we actually wish to accelerate such anymore. I do, however, appreciate your eagerness.

I do also, in fact, have many bottles of shadow-touched vintage. Coffee is beyond me, however. We could very likely chat sometime and I could answer your questions. I am very knowledgable on the secrets between the stars.

Send for me sometime.

       Merwyn

About Merwyn,

Merwyn and I have had plenty of issues. Butted heads a lot over these past few years together. There has been a growing dissonance between the two of us. Too much screaming. Too much violence. Too much pain. I ended things earlier this cycle.

She did not take it well. Please find her when you can and try to help. I know she needs it right now. She needs it a lot. Don't let her hurt herself over this. Please.

On Quirina Chaedris, a Sharran and member of the Void Cult

Quirina Chaedris has been a Sharrarn for the last six years, perhaps longer, and one of the higher ups in the Void Cult and their association. She was once the owner of the Starglow Tower, and a student of a man named Gelberath, perhaps daughter though I'm not sure the specifics there.

She has been a large force of chaos and destruction within the city for those last few years. Various acts of destruction can be attributed to her in part, such as two bombings of the city, the most recent attack, so on. Her subsequent capture and death is a massive blow against the Void Cult when you consider they attacked the city, and all it resulted in was some dirty water and the death of one of their leaders. Truly the smartest individuals on the island.

She was brought in for questioning, where it was found she had some sort of soul-linkage to some object. I do not know exactly the specifics or semantics, you may need to find out further information from Sirius, but once that was sorted out she was executed.

I said when I ran for Chancellor that we would be being far harsher and militant towards the Void Cult at large. That if they attacked we would be prepared. We were prepared, and they lost far more in this than we did.

We will be ready for their next move.

And with that being said; she will no longer plague this island any further.

Reports of possible attack on the Red Tower

During a conversation with the new High Priestess of the Temple of Lolth, Illiam'ala Xel'vraxa, she communicated to me of being aware of a possible military threat against the new Red Tower Exhibition. According to the Yath'tallar the new leader of the Helmite faction that recently split from the Gauntlet, Konstantin Hellbrecht, brother of our Theodor Hellbrecht, may be interested in performing an attack on the Red Tower. It would seem that in the eyes of the Helmites, Khaeldar, the current owner of the Red Tower, is a Sharran and a Void Cult member, and thus they see as good publicity and way to legitimize themselves on the surface an attack on him.

Theodor Hellbrecht, on his part, gave availability of the militia and kept it at the ready. On the other hand, it is quite likely the Helmites will find allies among other violent surfacer factions. To be fair, this sounds as well like a good advertising tactic to attract more people to the event. Regardless, it will be highly advisable for our members to be on high alert during the duration of the fair.

A Resurgence of the Void Cult

Known to many above as well as below for their heinous crimes, the Void Cult of Shar has long been a thorn in this island's side. A thorn that was plucked and thought discarded when their very home started to disintegrate underneath their feet.

But like with a tree, we may have pruned away the branches and cut the trunk to the ground, yet the roots kept snaking their way deeper into the soil of this island, biding their time to regrow in the darkness.

If the woodman's axe fails to perform its duty, more drastic measures are required; And what does the tree fear more than fire? The fire of torches illuminating the darkness? The fire of zeal we carry in our hearts?

It is for this reason that we demand the woodman's axe taken to the head of the Void Cultist Khael'dar the Drow and his Sharran associates. Should those sheltering him deny this simple request, we see no other option than to bring forth the fire to cleanse the island we call home from Shar's vile presence.

Fire spreads. Fire consumes all in its path. Fire is, even for those who provide the first spark, a thing that oft escapes precise control. Consider this.
