Urblexis Grond's First Founding

Recorded and Written in AR 143 by the monk, Amadeo Pneuma, this is a retelling of how the now submerged city of Urblexis Grond was founded.

Until the mid-20s AR, goblins, kobolds, duergar, and even a select few drow were allowed into the city of Cordor under special permit. However, early into Vetinari's rule, he declared these groups as 'monstrous races', and had them deported en masse.

This led to a mass exodus down into the Underdark of all kobolds, goblins, and duergar. Svirfniblin were also deported, although in lesser numbers. These groups settled near a brackish, subterranean and over time slowly began to build large communal buildings for shelter.

This newly-founded Urblexis Grond did not go unnoticed by the neighbouring drow city of Udos Dro'xun. Almost immediately tensions arose between the two settlements, with the drow trying to exact control over the fledgling settlement. Numerous treaties were formed and broken as new powers rose and declined in both Udos and Grond.
