In beautiful full colour illustration the cover of this book depicts a Goblin knight majestic and gallant. Steel armour beaming in the clear afternoon sun. His noble steed rearing heroicly, muscles straining and nostrils flaring. The knight's great lance, adorned with fluttering pennant, pierces the heart of a huge multi-headed demon dog. In the background a red goblin princess is caged and surrounded by torture implements.

"Clatter, SmaSH, CRASH!!!" Great wooden gates splinter, crack and implode. The heroic steed's steel shod hooves obliterating the castles main gate. The Goblin Knight Spurs on his warhorse as it tramples dozen's of "The Master's" Underlings.

A Drip of sweat slides it's way down his cheek gaining volume and speed. It slips free of his chin and he watches, horrified as it falls, and falls and keeps falling further and further into the seemingly endless, empty, black beneath him. For a moment he is paralyzed, balanced precariously on a spider silk "tight-rope" above a massive void and starting to shake. "No!! We's come too far to lose to such foes!! Is can do this... One.. last... JUMP!!". His fingertips just catch the far ledge and he hoists himself up. Looking back across the void to the gauntlet he has just endured, back past deadly traps and inconceivable puzzles he prays he will be able to find an easier way out.

Locked in mortal combat with a huge multi-headed demon dog creature his body bruised, battered and aching. The massive weight of the creature pressing down on him, crushing, stealing breath. The dogs' awful heads Snarling, drooling, frothing spittle and snapping but not quite hitting their mark. He manages to feebly grope for the hilt of his broken sword and, straining with all his might he just manages to bring it into place. Using the massive creature's own body weight against it he braces as the beast comes down on him again with all its might. Impaling itself on the jagged edge of the knight's sword, its dying howls shake the very walls.

Having bested all of "The Master's" defences The gallant knight opens the cage and bows to the princess freeing her and saying "I have you now my love. You've nothing to fear ever again." He gently helps lower her onto his brave steed waiting at the bottom of the tower then slides down the rope himself and whisks her away to his cozy Gobhome. He gently, reverently nestles her on his mantle and they both lived happily ever after!!

The next day on the streets of Cordor:
