The Decree on Vala Do'rret

By the authority invested in I, by Vaunted Freth, I, Xullthara of House Briz'zek, Archduchess of the Devil's Table, proclaim this judgment regarding Vala Do'rret.

Vala Do'rret has turned her devotion toward Loviatar, the Maiden of Pain.

Moreover, investigations of Vala Do'rret regarding conspiracty with foreign powers and unpermitted intimacy with one enslaved beneath the city are ongoing.

Having reviewed these matters, I render this decree:

1. On the matter of office and title:
* Vala Do'rret is hereby divested of her position as Minister of Decadence within the Devil's Table.
* The emblems of her station are null, until further proclamation.

2. On the matter of privilege and protection:
* No governing House, nor the Devil's Table itself shall lend shelter or reprieve until such time as her innocence is proven beyond suspicion.
* The burden of redemption lies solely upon her hands.

3. On the matter of continued inquiry:
* The investigation into her dealings shall persist under the gaze of the Devil's Table.
* When truth is made manifest, judgment shall be delivered without mercy or delay.

Let none stand in the way of the Dark Queen, and our kin.
