Statement on Armed Encounter with Cordorian Admiral and Arcanum

Per request of Amalie Arcath, I am penning this report of an armed encounter had this last tenday with Cordorian Admiral Odtgankawruh Zorig-Gerel and Arcanum Leader Uri Navarai.

My Spymaster scried the Cordorian Admiral in the Tollodir Ruins with an unknown person while we drank with Amalie in the Hub. We went to intercept them, and met at the ruins of Tollodir.

When we arrived, Uri was with the Admiral, though we knew not who he was and he used a surface dialect. The Admiral did not wish a conflict, and tried to claim she was here as an archaeologist.

I did not care and told them they would be killed regardless. Uri did not identify himself as being with the Arcanum. We attacked, the Admiral concealed herself and lensed after taking a hit from my breath, and we killed Uri.

Afterward some of those in our party including Amalie recognized the body of Uri and we took him back to the Sharps for interrogation. Uri was hostile at first, but began to mellow and admitted he does consort with the Admiral to exchange information and conduct hobbies.

He admitted he was likely wrong in doing so and promised not to be so familiar with her in the future. We extracted useful intelligence regarding the Admiral and Amalie asked us both to write reports. Then we let him go.
