Sibayad Citizen's Update 3
Greetings to those who walk the sands,
As part of our continued effort to keep the citizens and friends of Sibayad informed, here are the latest updates regarding development of our desert haven.
---
Celebrations:
Recent events have seen excellent turnout - from the continued B.O.S.S. fights (with thanks to Tamiko for their organisation), to our usual Story Nights. With a fishing competition and a masked ball on the horizon, we have plenty more plans. For those with a similar interest in enriching our culture, we are happy to support and sponsor any such efforts - let us know.
The Labourer Relief Initiative:
The Merciful Lantern has expanded its work beyond the clinic, now running an almshouse and labourer relief initiative. Led by Lora Thendry, the program has seen great success supplying water, care, and medical attention to the servants and labourers of the city. If interested in assisting with this endeavour, feel encouraged to contact Miss Thendry for details.
Market Update
Congratulations to Heria Divorin and those who have worked at her guildhall, as they were the well-deserved winner of the Best of Hammer shop award. For alchemical work, artisan wares or scrolls, give it a look!
Arbiter Update:
The Arbiter Corps has continued to grow steadily, with further training exercises scheduled in the weeks to come. Sibayad's commitment to law and order remains strong, and we are grateful to all who have lent sword and staff to the cause.
Fleet Expansion:
A new vessel has joined the Sibayadi fleet - the Clockwork Aegis, captained by Nieri Aetherforge. Our thanks to her for investing in Sibayad's naval power and presence.
Warehouse Update:
Our thanks to all who contributed to our supply drive - due to your efforts, our warehouses have seen their stock more than triple! This is the most bountiful Sibayad has been in many years.

In Other News...
The Seneschal's Office is seeking a personal aide - someone with a sharp mind and quill, to assist in compiling these updates and eventually produce a regular newspaper for the city. The position will begin work under Vestelle Duskmere, and include interviews, event coverage, et cetera.
Those unable to take office for legal or political reasons may still apply for the journalistic aspect of this role.
Inquire with the Seneschal directly if interested. This is a paid position.
The Seneschal's Office is also taking on those willing to join The Silver Spoon Coalition - inquire if interested, but discreetly.
