From Encyclopedia Arelithica 3.0

Bone-Breaker

This Heavy mace is made modestly to crush and break armor, A heavy weapon with an ornate design yet it appears to be made modestly and simple even in appearance. It appears savage and dwarven wit along the edges of the maces head. The shaft is metal and lined with red leather with inscriptions around the shaft covered in leather. The pommel is solid dwarven warriors bearing a shield and sword etched in a very minimal fashion. except for the ring around the shaft which is made in silver and two axes etched around the ring on the pommel. The inscription is in the shaft is in dwarven and it reads: (Dwarven]: Behold (edited)

unto thee, The enemies of my Kin shall this mace bear the anger and hatred and fire of the forge. Shall it strike holy to those that are vile, And may it protect those that bear arms against my Kin. And let it break bones and sunder armor. Let each strike roar in flame, light and thunder and never fade magic and forever glistem with the golden light of the Great forge"

Wrath of Morndinsamman

The fist-sized rigid head of this War Mace bears, the markings of the twelve gods in the Mondinsamman pantheons. Each intertwined with their emblems of faith. This War Mace can be wielded by any member of their faith, as a direct representation of their Samman bloodline and loyalty to their kin. The pummel is wrapped in dragonhide found amougst the Wyverns of Dark Spire, the adamantine blessed by Clerics in the Golden Halls of Brogendenstien of their holy forges radiating the fiery, divine and holy essences.

Dragonslayer (Peridan)

Few dare to create items such as this, for who does not fear the wrath of dragons, and what action would more tempt their reckoning? Yet, at a time lost in Faerun's past, there was a need, and this sword was forged in answer. Tempered by a wizard's skill, this blade protects the wielder from the fear they should rightly feel while staring down a dragon's maw. It also dispels the trickery of illusions, and dares to massive damage to the greatest creatures of the Realms.

Greatsword of the Wander

An exquisite greatsword forged to perfection, a level of quality and attention to detail that almost implies contempt. Clearly the smith who made this considers it an inferior weapon but would never stoop low enough to make anything subpar. The blade is adorned with Dethek runes and geometric, wandering paths declaring the glory of the untaken path and wishings of protection to the wanderer. Upon the crossguard is a Dwarven engraving which reads "May the Watcher protect you, brother. Seek the unfound wealth and bring it home to your clan and hold."

Below a hilt of fine leather dyed a deep blue and accented with gold thread is a heavy circular pommel stamped with a helmeted dwarf, two pickaxes and a hammer carved behind him.

Forge Fire

The iron will and law of Moradin will not be over looked, under appreciated nor disrespected in the hand of a servant of the All Father, and Hammer of the law. Serving the unrelenting Creator of the dwarves, all hammers are entrusted with keeping the honor, traditions and justice of stone within or without all lands of the living, including those with samman, earth-kin, tall-kin, and all others. Let not the river shift and erode the mountain as it winds through the crags, but be attentive to the power and flow of the river, allowing it to slowly bend the mountain in growth and evolution.

Blessed be the Soul Forger, and may this hammer serve him with honor and honesty, always. Braidstone

Turgar Trollsbane

The axe of Gromyr Foehammer has hewn terror on countless battlefields. Its twin blades bear the markings of two smiths. Turgar Vintergard and Gromyr of the Kuldarn collaborated for the making of this adamantine wonder of dwarven smithwork. A powerful essence brewed by Embrek Shatterforge covers the axehead, engulfing it in corrosive flame. The sides of each blade are adorned with a single Dethek rune, scored and imbued with power by the songstress Aila Vintergard. The four runes would read: "Severance" "Pain" "Ruin" "Despair"

Noli Runemaiden

Wrought of fine greensteel, this Great Rune Axe is undoubtedly- the work of a dwarf mastersmith. Twin blades form the axehead, pounded in perfect symmetry for counterbalance; their keen edges expertly sharpened with care. In the center lies carved on both sides the face of a young Samman maiden. Her expression appears benign and welcoming on one side, yet on the other frowning and fierce. Long greensteel-wrought braids run down from the maiden's face wisted together in the middle to form the handle of the axe. Identical Dethek runes for "Friend" and "Foe" are intricately scored on each blade respectively. In this manner, the blade facing the foe at hand will always read "Foe", while its twin counterpart will mark the wielder "Friend". Runed on the year AR 165 by Kuldar Noli Torsig

Feybane

Years previously, during the reign of Thane Falgrim Vintergard, Brogendenstein had lost its only cold iron weapon by an act of betrayal. While a great loss, the dwarves would not truly know the cost until many years later. This cost became known in mid AR 176: a wi to claiming service to the Queen of Air and Darkness threatened the isle of Arelith Seeming impervious to all conventional weaponry and able to bind even mighty dragons to her will. In desperate need of a blade that could be used against the fey and fey-favoured once more, but lacking in a source of cold iron, several came together in an attempt to devise an alternative.

Inspired by texts of weaponry from the eastern land of Kozakura, this is a dwarven take of similar design. The design was chosen due to its apparent effectiveness against otherworldly creatures. Metal made malleable absent of forge-fire, but by the divine light of Clangeddin Silverbeard, the two smiths worked in conjunction to see the blade formed. Infused with their prayers, their sweat, their toil. If the innate qualities of the weapon proved ineffective, they hoped (perhaps in vain) that their efforts might be. The weapon's materials had been gathered by the then Warden's Second (edited)

Taggert Redbeard, and bore his mark of ownership. The blade resembled more of a spear or halberd in terms of length, difficult to wield for all but the most seasoned dwarven warrior due to size alone. Adorned with runes copied from Eastern Texts that shone faintly orange against the dark. From the blade, illusory petals of a desert flower would fall, vanishing on contact with any surface. The blade bore the crafters mark of the then Regent gent of Brogendenstein, Oak Vintergard and Frost maiden faithful, Kaedan Palehide.

Azianurht

An axe used by particularly zealous devotees of Clangeddin Silverbeard, who have chosen to forsake their lives in pursuit of the destruction of their god's foes. Each specimen is inscribed with silver runes proclaiming terrible oaths of vengeance and grudges against them, particular to the wielder who commissioned the axe. The keen edge of this axe has been blessed to strike giants and their kin with lightning, though it is no less capable of rending monsters men. evil This particular axe is called Azianurht and was held by the Icelord, Manus in the year 179 AR. It was given to the sea.

Korzatrar Hammer

At first glance, this weapon looks like an ordinary steel warhammer, until one tries to pick it up. Its head weighs disproportionally heavier than steel, making it difficult to wield. One strong enough to lift it and swing in full force would be able to cause ground shaking impacts and blows. Few know the true origin of these hammers, only recently rediscovered in the dwarfhold of Korzatrar, long thought lost. The expeditioners found no living dwarf, but they found reccs and dates refering to an event where a meteorite fell nearby the hold. The meteorite was composed of an unknown metal, far heavier and more durable than any other. Due to its limited quantity

it was used in alloys with other weapons or as cores inside steel shells. Only a few of these weapons were found within the hold itself, and many questions in regard to the fate or the dwarves, the metal, and the weapons created were left unanswered.

The Fiery Will of Moradin

[Hera Braidstone] [Sasha Silvandales] The morningstar is a derivative of the mace that includes a chain tether similar to the flail to add velocity when swinging its compact striking surface. Morningstars commonly have at least one formidable spike as an added feature of the head.

Crafted by Forge Cleric of Moradin, Grund Steelfist 177 AR. This spear is built for the Vigilant Knights and Stout Warriors. It is sturdy, strong and sharp. It will pierce all armour. "[Halfling]: Let this spear signify your strength, and your capability shine through this spear. G.S."

May all who wield it strike true and face the all father's judgment.

Haela's Heartfire

This divinely enchanted great sword is clearly of dwarven make. While on holy ground, the blade ebbs softly with Dethek runes along the blade. The cross-guard looks solid enough to halt the down stroke of a giant, and the pommel is wrapped in tight braids of white leather. The counterbalance is a bronze bust in the likeness of the Lady of the Fray herself.

Groht Thrhnakkah

This excellent axe is dwarvish in make.. It is extreamly well maintained and sharpened. Inlaid with gold it is well decorated with ancient dwarvish marking of old. Along the facing of the axe on both sides is Dethek meticulously inscribed in pure refined gold: [Dwarven]: Rock Splitter Along the bevels of the axe is the imprint of a dwarfs head with twin pickaxes and a hammer behind him, symbolizing Clan Goldenbeard. The grip of the hammer is wrapped tightly in winter wolf leathers, and burned into the belly of the handle is the letter k.

Brogendensteins Salvation

This Bronze axe is highly decorated but remains functional. When looking from top to bottom it tells you the story of the Stonesong clan. The pommel is coated with a thin layer gold, in this layer of gold Dethek runes are engraved and filled up with silver so they stand out. The runes are in a circle around the pommel and say: "The Stones Always Song for those who hear The grip is covered with leather strips that are intertwined. It is kept relatively simple to balance out against the other decorations. From the shaft down to the head of the axe, a mine is circling down. In the mines, several dwarfs are working to

gather ore. All the veins of ore are all colored by the metal they represent. Apart from that, all the dwarfs and their clothes are colored with the use of different gemstones. Between the mine shafts, the name Stonesong is engraved in Dethek. again the runes are filled with silver so they stand out. When coming to the blade of the axe the story turns grimmer. On the one side of the axe, the dwarfs of the mine face a fierce enemy. Their enemies have the same posture as our dwarfs, but the grey skin makes clear that they are duergars. The duergars face the dwarfs in large numbers and with heavy equipment.

has started, but it is consumed by lava. The lave is made of waves of bronze, brass and sometimes even gold and small pieces of garnet. Both friend and foe will meet their end here without a doubt in a grave of molted stone. On the most right of the blade, where there is only lave left, some Dethek runes are made of sor. It says: they paid Gorms ultimate price On the underside of the blade is a small and undercoated NV.

Zhazhlurrkah

[Garmr Stonesoul] Before you stands a testament to the toils of the Morndinsamman. Warmonger as it's known in the Common tongue. The shaft of the axe is made of rare Black Mountain Pine, only a handful of these trees remain and are renowned for their long lives and their ability to absorb blows. The entire shaft is carved ornately depicting various images of a dwarf wielding a great axe slaughtering numerous foes ranging from Orc-bloods to Duergar, as you work your way up the mountain, the Battle scene would then depict a great battle with a red wyrm, the dragon sending forth flame upwards

towards the head of the axe. The axe head depicts a blackened Poll. The face of the axe bears inscribed runes of strength, valor, and ferocity. As well a short prayer is inscribed to Clangeddin Silver beard. Further inspection would reveal the blackened poll of the axe to be the head of a shadow wyrm, the head now seemingly formed into the darkened breath of such a wyrm. On the poll, where the Shadow wyrms eye would be resides an eerie appearing ruby. The ruby, singed with yellow flakes into it, appears to blink when the wielder picks up the blade, almost as if warmonger is in itself, a sentient creation of dwarven make.
