*) An illusion of the cap'n appeared before Cordorian and Guld officials at a gubment meeting. Claimed to be hittin' Cordor turf in "two trine. Maybe two-and-a-half." Visiting or tradin' in the kingdom durin' that time is highly inadvisable. But I ain't your pa.

*) We can't exactly take 'em at 'er word just yet. But they apparently have a "list" of ports they're hittin' in order. Cordor's is first. It's likely based on their past threats Guld is second or third on there.

*) The Constabulary and Garrison are workin' with civic-minded civvies in both the city and Freeport to prepare defenses. Bombards have been comissioned. Gonnes are available for civvies willin' to stay and fight in case of invasion. Non-combatants will be sheltered on higher ground.

*) Miss Zahira, Varric, miss Fye and other Freeport residents are workin' 'round the clock to establish the Slayer's Guild as a defensive hold. Freeport residents with no chance of movin' to higher ground should rendezvous there. **

** The Constabulary respects the private property rights of civvies and has been graciously permitted access to the Guild by its owner. This is a temporary, emergency measure. Unlike past Bailiffs I do things by the book. My and my staff's keys will be relinquished followin' the crisis.
