Peace & Prosperity over War

Over the past few days, announcements were shared on the board about our stance on Ulvric Wolfhide and his aggression and threat towards Sibayad and its people and after his attack upon Lord Herald, Sinaid Ruharin.

After listening to the concerns from our people, and discussing the matter with my Council, we have had some time to think and let things simmer down. We are reminded that we were chosen to lead Sibayad and promised peace and prosperity for Sibayadi. We intend to keep that promise.

While Ulvric and his allies have caused harm to Sibayad and its people repeatedly and over an extended period of time, we realise that any further pursuit of war and violence will only contribute to a never-ending cycle of this and diminish that which the Council promised to the people of Sibayad.

Sibayad stands for neutrality, we have relationships above and below, and we cannot compromise this for our own personal beliefs or sense of justice. Now, more than ever, do we understand and respect the true meaning of neutrality and the immense difficulty in maintaining it at the cost of all else.

But, as always, we will do what is in the best interest of Sibayad and its people.
