On the Matter of Slavery
Although I hold no personal stance on slavery, I acknowledge that it is a matter of significant concern for many in Arelith. With this in mind, I wish to make the following declaration.
Minmir Keep will not participate in the practice of slavery, characterized by the abduction and trade of individuals for financial gain. Furthermore, we will also abstain from any "chain-breaking" endeavors undertaken solely to liberate those enduring captivity.
Nevertheless, we recognize the limited options available to those who find themselves enslaved. As a result, Minmir Keep will not discriminate against individuals based on their status as slaves. We extend an open welcome to those seeking sanctuary in Minmir, driven by faith or a dire need for safety, even if it requires us to buy their contracts to guarantee their welfare.
For those who find themselves within Minmir and under the Keep's ownership, we will offer a path toward securing their freedom. The pace of this journey, or even whether it is pursued, will be at the discretion of the enslaved individual, provided that the costs incurred by the Keep are balanced against the price of their liberation.

The sigil of Minmir Keep is depicted in wax just beneath the signature: An imposing stone keep and perched atop it, a vigilant green dragon spreading its wings in an impressive display of power.
