Official Announcement: Sibayad Defence Preparation

People of Sibayad,

Most of you have heard by now of Captain Krakscragger and his Ghost Ship, the Kraken's Curse. The Captain has been terrorising the seas and declared his intention to begin invasions and attacks upon various cities in the coming days and weeks. Sibayad is on his list of targets and sadly, so are those we consider allies and partners in trade.

The official stance of the Merchant League and that of my own, is that all Sibayadi citizens must focus on our own defences. We still have some time to prepare and some preparations are already on the way. Do -not- provide your assistance to other settlements despite how tempting it is, they will have their own people and resources to defend their cities and towns. We need everyone we can get here in Sibayad.

I ask all citizens and employees to aid where possible by doing regular patrols along the spice road up to and including the docks. I ask necromancers and animators to lend their skill to help us against a potential army of undead. I ask clergy to help us hallow the port, canyon and city itself. I ask barrels of holy water to be prepared and scrolls of mass healing and other things that can ward off large amounts of undead.
