Notice to Myon Citizens

From Encyclopedia Arelithica 3.0

While I understand the relationship between Myon and Guldorand is complicated, even more so with our shared city under the rule of the Founder’s Council, I am compelled to remind our neighbors when visiting Guldorand, Myon laws and morality do not apply.

All those wishing to visit Guldorand are encouraged to read and understand the laws of the land as they can differ greatly from your own. Those that find themselves breaking our laws shall be punished accordingly. To highlight one of the laws that likely differ from your own.

+Slaves+

In keeping with the Founder's Charter "Liberty of the Individual", a person shall not be denied entry or prosecuted in Guldorand for the unfortunate fate of being enslaved by another. Only criminal acts against the Republic or its agents shall be considered in determining an individual's status within the lands of the Guldorand.

In short, slaves are allowed in Guldorand and assault upon their person is a crime. If you feel a clamped individual has broken a GULDORAND LAW please report it to the city Watch.

Enforcing MYON LAW or ELVEN PREJUDICE in Guldorand Lands is a direct violation of the FOUNDER’S EDICT:

* Guldorand and Myon have both agreed to de-escalate and speak to one another before resorting to violence. We encourage them that, if diplomacy fails, to consult the Founder's Council. The first entity that disrupts our current peace will be punished severely.

* Guldorand and Myon are mandated to avoid conflict with one another. The Founder's Council will not be considering morality as an excuse for interfering with one another. If either believes the other to be engaging in notably immoral behavior, we suggest diplomacy first. If this fails, the next step is the Founder's Council to make a determination.

* The Founder's Council's mission is one of peace, prosperity and unity. If you cannot work towards that, you will be removed. If you cannot drop your grudges, you will be removed. We will continue monitoring the situation with our agents and accepting information provided by the public in the Founder's Hall which can be located in City Port.

I recommend that if Myon or its Officials have concerns over Guldorand Law they first speak to the High Sheriff or make a report to the Founder’s Council as recommended by the Founder’s Council.

Thank you.
