THE BATTLE OF THE TRADEPOST

We have  news from the far-away island of Arelith, where the Amnian and Waterdhavian navies have clashed in a Waterdhavian-led effort to take the Amnian tradesport in these waters.

The Lords' Alliance Expeditionary Force under command of Admiral Helkar Hornwynd who has enjoyed several victories against the Amnians during this war, led its navy with local ships and allies to capture the tradesport and evict the Amnians from those seas, thus choking any possible route of transport from Amn to Maztica.

A fierce naval engagement followed. The Amnian Admiral Ramón Talazar with aid from an Arelithian-branch of  the Amnian house Rivorndir held the sea in a spirited defense even though numerically outnumbered.

Details of the battle is hard to ascertain but It is reported that Admiral Hornwynd and his flagship the Indomitable was capsized and the ensuing battle was described as extremely chaotic with heavy losses.

In the chaos that followed a furious clash of bombards from each side was ordered until eventually the Waterdhavian retreated their forces. It is unclear how the Arelithian campaign will progress but as now Amn still retain control of the tradepost but not without severe casualties.

THE ARGENT LEGION ARRIVES

The Argent Legion of Luruar and its Newerwinter allies has been seen arriving at the Fields of the Dead just east of Baldur's Gate, which still has managed to hold the intensive weeks of siege upon the upper city it still holds.  Under command of High Marshal Aerasumé, the Argent Legion hosts some of the best warriors and soldiers spared by the confederation of the Silver Marches.

No reports are made of clashes, but it is expected that the Amnian troops have prepared for their arrival and are preparing themselves to resist this relief force sent by the north.

NEW AMN SOLIDIFY POSITION IN MAZTICA

In Maztica the situation for New Amn has turned as the threat of a unified native army of Nexalans, Kultakans and Pezelac warriors has been dispersed following a sudden loss of their war-chiefs in a surprise attack upon their camp at Lake Kiltizi. The pan-native rebel and leader Xipil de Carra, a previous thorn for the New Amnian administration, was captured by the Golden Legion while the rest of the chiefs and their New-Waterdhavian leaders were slain in battle.

Xipil de Carra was taken to Helmsport where Governor-General Cordell warned the population that Waterdeep would stop at nothing to incite native agitation and urged every citizen of New Amn to be vigilant against their machinations. For her crimes and rebellion de Carra was executed in the public square of Helmsport.

With the native threat gone and receiving a flush of supplies, Cordell has been able to focus on the western front and has pressed New Waterdeep and their claimed territories sorely, pushing them back beyond the Plutoq mountain range. It is said a full campaign into Waterdhavian territory is underway.

TETHYR'S ARMY PUSHES INTO THE TEJARN  HILLS!

Very fresh reports that at first was difficult to ascertain has now confirmed that a sizeable part of the Tethyrian army under Duke Llanistaph, hero of the Tethyr, has crossed the Tethryian border and routed a sizeable part of responding Amnian army. In a move few could have predicted, Duke Llanistaph has seized the vast Tejarn Hills of south-eastern Amn and now Amn find itself with a foreign army inside their own lands.

This has sparked outrage in Athkatla as some of the populace fear the city risk being under siege, something the Council has declared impossible. Fresh troops from Eshpurta are mustering and readying to move southward to face this new, Tethyrian, threat

Meanwhile in southern Tethyr the war between the nation and Calimshan has landed on a standstill as the Syl-Pasha's soldiers have not gained any meaningful advance into the area, rebuffed by a bulwark of hardened veterans from the Reclamation Wars.
