Myon History - The Descent of Clea Stormheart, Nostalfay Accounts
The following is the summary of the Descent of Clea Stormheart from AR 147 to AR 150, as told by House Nostalfay.
Bound by P.Mosbrooke year 156 for the Fox's Den Archives. May the hubris of Clea the Mad serve as a cautionary tale.
Clea Stormheart: Part I: Introduction, and early events
This is the statements of fact and perspective of House Nostalfay concerning their interactions with Clea Stormheart. In this, we will lay things out in chronological order and conclude with our opinion.
Members of House Nostalfay first came into contact with Clea when she moved into Guldorand after House Nostalfay had lived there for a short while. Clea said, at this time, that all she wanted was to have a place to fit in and belong, and so was welcomed in.
The first dangerous situation came some time after this. Clea decided to go to the entry of Myon and issue taunts and insults, until she felt the need to flee on horseback. Ithilmor Calebraith, the Loremaster, Laphria the commander of the Black Archers, and others gave persuit to Clea, who lead them to Guldorand. Entering the village, Clea declared that Guldorand was under attack and tried to rally the Shields and others to the villages defense. Thankfully this did not result in violence. This was the first time her actions became clear that she wished to quarrel with Myon, and was not above using others to fight her battles for her. Milanaith and Clea had an argument, in which Milanaith scolded Clea for her recklessness. Clea cried on Milanaith Nostalfay's shoulder, promising that she would give up on Myon and live happily in Guldorand.
The second instance was when Clea tried to rally the prominent elves of Guldorand; House Nostalfay, Ilaerothil, and Amelor, to establish an Elven Council in Guldorand. This would be a shadow government, only answerable to themselves, separate from the Mayor and Delegates of Guldorand. House Nostalfay shut the idea down, taking the information to Ezekiel Klennald, the Mayor of Guldorand about it. Without the support of House Nostalfay, such a council would have had little authority or power in Guldorand.

Clea Stormheart: Part II: Delegate and Power
Shortly after this, Clea sought to become a Delegate for Elves in Guldorand. To accomplish this, she wrote a lengthy letter to Mayor Ezekiel, in which she again promised to give up on ambitions in Myon. This was taken to a meeting to discuss, the letter shown to the mebers of House Nostalfay who were present. During this meeting, Clea cried on Milanaith's shoulder, stating that she just wanted a home to belong in and be a part of. Given the note, and her tears moving Milanaith to compassion, Clea was made into a Delegate to represent Elven interests in Guldorand.
During this time, Clea also began seeking to build her own power base. She started spending time with Ilaerothil and Amelor. Ilaerothil, a Priestess of Labelas Enoreth, held a significant amount of influence in Guldorand. I, Elatha, was both a friend of Ilaerothil and was spying on Ilaerothil and Clea, reporting everything they said and did to House Nostalfay, acting as their agent. Clea planned to put Ilaerothil on the throne of Myon, with the intention of Ilaerothil unexiling Clea, so she could run for Coronal the next year.
After the conflict between Myon and others, specifically the Frostblades and House Nostalfay, escalated, Clea began beating the drums of war. During this time of escalation, Clea gave unto me a book of farewell letters, intended to be delivered upon her death.
After the attack by the Fey Tyne and her Elven companions on Rivis and Milanaith, I personally recall her asking Ezekiel how much he would tolerate before bringing the whole Axehold Accords to war against Myon. In doing so, Clea broke the promises she had given to both House Nostalfay and Ezekiel. House Nostalfay distanced itself further from Clea, no amount of her pleading could sway them.

Clea Stormheart: Part III: Collapse of Support
When Ilaerothil and Amelor left the island of Arelith, Clea seemingly became more dedicated togather more allies around the island. This is when House Nostalfay decided to actively try to counter Clea's plans. We began guiding kindred away from her, out of fear that they would be used as tools for her ends. Fear that they would be signed up to bleed so she can have a crown.
Months later, Milanaith confronted Clea, giving her a last chance to make an agreement. Milanaith agreed to help Clea get unexiled to live in Myon if Clea promised to never seek the throne of Myon. Clea spoke of how she can't run because she is exiled, and she must get unexiled first, seeming to misunderstand the offered agreement. Milanaith reasserted that Clea would have to promise to never seek the crown for her help. This escalated with Clea becoming angry, and calling Milanaith names, including but not limitted to a Hag. Clea fled the argument, to gather allies, first finding me, Elatha. I was, at the time, Milanaith's fiancee. Clea tried to turn me against Milanaith, but Milanaith interceded. The conflict between Milanaith and Clea escalated with Clea getting into Milanaith's face until the Shields of Guldorand had to remove Clea out of fear of violence. This was taken to Mayor Ezekiel, and after it was shown that Clea only cared for the throne of Myon, that she was using Guldorand and the Axhold Accord as both a weapon against Myon, and a shield against reprisal, Clea was allowed (forced) to resign her position as a Delegate of Guldorand.

Clea Stormheart: Part IV: Elections and Meeting
Rumors began to circulate that Vaylani was stepping down as Coronal. This sent Clea to work. She began encouraging elves to return to Myon and take citizenship so that they could vote for (presumably) her favored candidate. It was not yet decided for certain who, but she was pushing for Kael'avin of Darrowdeep. Clea likely assumed that Kael'avin would remove her exile, allowing her back into the city. She planned a meeting in Darrowdeep for Elves, to discuss the future of Myon. Darrowdeep declined this, and so it was moved to Ezekiel's home in Guldorand. The invitation for this included two peculiarities. Firstly, it denied any members of Vaylani's administration to be allowed. Secondly, Clea signed the notice as "Coronal Clea Stormheart". By the time the meeting arrived, Zathlan had been selected by the people of Myon to take up the position of Coronal.
At the meeting, Clea attempted to speak for everyone from Myon. She seemed to try and make the peace negotiations an all-or-nothing deal, lumping herself in with others who were branded as outcasts from Myon; specifically naming myself (Elatha) and my wife Milanaith. She named me first in the list, as I am clearly the least objectionable being a pacifist and never having done anything directly against Myon. This is why Milanaith stepped in to split ourselves from her, stating our intentions to be judged alone on our deeds alone. This angered Clea, enough that she made remarks to me after the meeting in hushed tones, that Milanaith was essentially betraying everyone else by separating ourselves. The remainder of the meeting, seemed like Clea desired all the focus; whenever the topic strayed too far from her, she was certain to call attention back to herself.

Clea Stormheart: Part V: Conclusion
In conclusion (my apologies for the length, it was years of activity to discuss!): House Nostalfay does not stand with Clea Stormheart. She may, on the surface, be kind and charitable, but we believe that she only desires power and will stop at nothing to achieve it. By nothing, we mean nothing. She will shed kindred blood if it is needed to be sacrificed upon the altar for her. We recommend in the strongest possible terms that her exile be maintained for the foreseable future. She plans like a spider, lying in wait and weaving, hoping to suck dry her prey.
