Lecture on Vampire Slaying, Behavior and Common Misconceptions
Vampires are among the more dangerous undead that we face throughout our duties, and they are becoming more active lately. Atticus Stratlace, an expert in investigating these foul creatures, has graciously accepted my call to hold a lecture alongside the Order of Ascension.
Our gathering will occur on the second floor of the Cordor Meeting Hall, during the early hours of Nightal's 15th day.
Some questions that we hope to answer include:
What are some common misconceptions about vampires?
- Is garlic a strong deterent?
- Are coffins significant to all vampires?
Which creatures may vampires target for blood?
- Can they survive off the blood of animals? Dragons?
How may a vampire's weaknesses be discovered and exploited?
- Could the behavioral traits they held in life be used against them?
How does becoming a vampire change one's behavior?
What are some common vampire banes?
- Which do current threats to Arelith possess?
We will give time for others to pose questions of their own, or to share experiences that they have had with these creatures.
May the stars guide you,
Ophelia Duskwood,
Loremaster of the Order of Ascension
