Hammer First

Tithing to Moradin will include iron ingots or raw stone.

Children of stone, we gather under the pillars of the Morndinsamman to celebrate Hammer First, revering the Soul Forger. We tithe iron, granite and marble, honoring our All Father and creator, giving thanks for his creation and blessings upon us. Upon this crescent moon, let us be thankful.

May the Thunder Blessing echo throughout our Golden Halls and Moradin’s hammer reign hard upon our enemies.

All Father, you burn the dross from me, but the iron remains. So you breathed fire into our very souls, we burn hot for you in our daily work, stand firm in our oaths and knit strong our kindred bonds.

As your creations, we pledge our service, your children of stone; we remember to serve you in all our crafting, always striving for perfection in anything we make, to honor you.

We will defend our clan hold, our kinsmen and our allies, with strength and honor, to the death, if you see fit.

We will honor you by honoring our kinsmen, our oaths, our clanhold and the Morndinsamman.

Forge strong our hearts so that we may resist Abbathor’s pull into greed’s depths, and remind us to learn tolerance for the other races and their customs.

Unite us not only in war, but in peace times, reminding us that the hearth is just as important as your glorious mines and your calling to war.
