Departure (Poem)

From Encyclopedia Arelithica 3.0

When sun and moon crest from sight, their departure begets the night.
Arise children of the dark, your mother bids this, you're to act.
Father departs this arc tonight, thus the children may grow wings and take flight,
The goddess beckons him on in the night, in his wake letting others take up her fight,
Having played his part, a deft sojourn to learn her art, one took a name to be forgotten all the same,
Forbbiden knowlege lies strewn around, like bodies lost and never found.
Before lies loss burned without a word, a lesson in this can be learned,
When one holds keys to all foretold, too great reliance on them you hold,
No one too great no one too bold that loss is not inured,
Sojourner's departure you witness upon this night.
