DISSOLUTION OF THE THARCHIONATE OF THE SHARPS

From Encyclopedia Arelithica 3.0

Those who call the Sharps home know how to endure.

Three years past, our realm was an utter ruin after years of rule by creedless raiders and torn asunder by conspiracy

Resilience and unity became our watchword as we built a realm where we sought to preserve our liberties, protection of faiths, and to give opportunity to all to thrive in peace as well as give a place for warriors to prove themselves without succumbing to mindless cruelty or common banditry.

By assembling the Oathsworn into a disciplined force, we shielded the weak, paroled prisoners with dignity, and defied the zealots who would trample the liberty of the Sharps. We all set on a journey to become better and rise above our lot in life. The Sharps was known long as a bandit kingdom loathed and feared by many. Now, even our foes respect our turn towards building a civilized realm.

Our triumph in battle is known, but, more important, a victory in what we built as the Sharps transformed in prosperity and collected ambitious souls from across the realms. Kind souls found refuge in these streets, and we took them in readily, served long by a Temple of Mystra and protected those who wished to improve society. Their influence was unmistakable.

We ended bloodshed in our streets between neighbors. Recent battle has strained our forces, yet, we have shown these 'monsters' can uphold justice and compassion.

I, Myryn Blightscar, declare a council to oversee governance, and I renounce my titles so a new leader may rise. The Oathsworn remains steadfast to defend our ideals. I have long cast aside the Destroyer to walk a path shaped by Foehammer's teachings. One of measured battle against worthy foes, guided by my own sense of honor as a soldier of Tempus.

I leave power willingly, having learned that a realm worth defending is one where liberty and community outshine ambition. May the Sharps continue to grow under new stewardship, and may its people stand as a testament to how even the most violent past can be redeemed through unity and resolve.

Glory to the Sharps!

Praise Tempus!
