Cordor Accepting Andunorian Coin
To first note; I am a teeny bit late to the party at the Shadowvar's Trading Post! There's likely some nonsense talked about before I got there.
It seems to me that since the election of Isara Derlson and the sailing away of Thomas Castemont, Cordors morals have dropped farther and farther into a very big pit. They're very open about accepting coin from Underdarkers more than happy to return later and kill innocent travellers and was the intention described by the one, 'Amog', to do.
When I got there I found Cordor's Commander, Henry Paternell, talking in agreement with Amog and a crowd of other Andunorians of an exchange between them an Eris Kross, a slave that, as a present Drow had put it:
"Labours for him (Drakhanar) daily and serves as a lynchpin to keeping his other slaves in line."
This slave is clearly not just a slave but a key person to The Sharp's horde of murderers. They're likely not even to be considered when it comes to freeing others. She was very openly happy to see the others of the Sharps and mingle with them again. She had also quoted that she 'Hoped they didn't pay too much.'
I learn while here that Drakhnar is still in Cordor's jail cell in conversation with Isara Derlson to come to an agreement on his freedom. To quote Henry;
"Execution is not the intention."
During the entirety of this conversation Amog and the others are threatening Henry with the blood of everyone travelling the roads, Amog even claiming that he loves crafting necklaces out of the ears of people he kills.
Additional notes:
Eris Kross has been sold back to Andunor before, Henry saying that they paid half before she got there and half after. This is likely in case she manages to escape Cordor.
In Henry Paternell's words:
"You've your prisoner upon agreed deal. This is yet one more deal satisfied."
The corruption of Cordor under Isara Derlson as Chancellor never seems to hit a bottom. They have turned to accepting coin from slavers and murderers as if the merchants they squeeze dry every month through their new laws is not enough. Apparently, even being told to their face that the Andunorians will return to kill even more of them very soon, they will still take this coin.
Big smiles!
