Cordor: Scarlet Son's Contract
Initial payment: 1,400,000
Bonus payment: 50,000-200,000 to be offered intermittently if the Scarlet Son's fulfill requests efficiently or as a reward for loyal service.
Bonus stall: 1 stall outside of Castle Gloom
Monthly pay: The Knight-Commander will pay the Scarlet Son's 1,500 gold for every member, every month, to be paid yearly.
Restrictions: The Scarlet Son's may not enter Cordor in groups of five or more people unless fulfilling a contract for someone in Cordor that requires more than five people or responding to a lawful request for help from Cordor.
Restrictions: The Scarlet Son's may request access to the Undaunted from any Eye who has permission to take the ship out of port. It may be for personal or professional reasons. The Eye requested must supervise the Scarlet Son's while on the sea and will make sure the Undaunted is not placed in needless harm.
Freedoms: The Scarlet Son's may accept any contract from anyone so long as it does not interfere with any member of the Axehold Accord. Cordor's contract must be considered priority at all times.
Expectations: The Scarlet Son's will respond to any and all lawful requests for help that could be expected from Cordor's armed forces.
Expectations: The Scarlet Son's will respect the Chain of Authority (Chancellor > Minister of External Affairs > Oculus > Knight Commander > Overseer > Highest-Ranking Eye Present)
Expectations: The Scarlet Son's will not be required to enforce the law on their own time but if they are present and see the Eyes carrying out their lawful duties, they are obliged to offer their assistance.
Expectations: The Scarlet Son's must understand their primary role to Cordor is (bulking, support, reinforcement and reconnaisance) but they may be asked to take on lawful operations on their own.
Reasonable man stipulation: Cordor and the Scarlet Son's both are bound by a 'reasonable man' stipulation for anything not covered in the contract.
In any such situation that must be judged, behavior must be decided from the perspective of a 'reasonable man'.
A 'reasonable man' would not take on suicide missions so the Scarlet Son's will not be expected to do so.
A 'reasonable man' can terminate a contract with his employer for any reason he feels that he has to do so.
A 'reasonable man' would not work under pact-bearers or with other blatantly evil entities.
However, a 'reasonable man' would also not go out of his way to try and find fault with his employer so that they can choose not to do something.
A 'reasonable man' running a business can work out 'reasonable' disciplines for any unreasonable conduct his employees have taken.
The Scarlet Son's will behave not in the letter of the contract but in the spirt of it and Cordor will do the same. Either side who feels the spirit of the contract is being breached should attempt diplomacy before terminating the contract.
The contract may be adjusted verbally after it is signed if both parties agree to it (witnesses must be present)
