Anastasia (Painting)
A painting of a dark haired, pale faced woman, staring straight forward. Her hair is tied back, revealing a gaunt, pail face. Her hands are shown crossed in front of her chest, but the fingers are curled and sharp, like claws. Her expression is grim and unsmiling, but there is the hint of fangs peeking out from under her narrow lips. Her garb is black, her eyes likewise dark. Behind her is a wash of brown, like oaken panelling.
There is a disturbing nature about this picture, it’s stillness, it’s lifelessness, the picture of a corpse perhaps.
To those that have met Anastasia the vampire, this only has a very passing resemblance, as if painted from description rather from experience.
At the bottom right of the picture, very small, is a tiny black rams head, in profile, with ‘A.S.’ beneath it.
