Cordor's Scandalous Triangle Unveiled!

Cordor's high society is positively ablaze this week, and it's not because of the midsummer masquerade. No, dear readers... this time, the drama is far more delicious.

Sources close to the Chancellor's inner circle have confirmed what many have whispered for weeks: Lady Isara Derlson, the sweet-as-saccharine  Chancellor of Cordor, is entangled in a steamy, spellbound affair with not one, but two of her less-than-courtly lady friends.

Enter Naradil, our resident 'but the Painmistress can't be evil when she's so nice!' Priestess. Proof positive that recruitment for the clergy must be a little... painful of late.

But wait, there's Lor! ...or, the silver-tongued and silver-armored Elf who wishes us to think her a dragon. No election could start without her. Literally. Perhaps Isara's courting the opposition?

Is this a political alliance sealed with passion? A love triangle defying reason? Or maybe it's just three women brought together by their undying love for whispering mean things about those they greet warmly. Cordor's oldest tradition!

Whatever the truth, dear readers, best keep your wits sharp and get in line early... wall parking is at a premium with these three around!

Stay tuned, darlings. The moon is high, the rumors are wild, and Cordor has never been more scandalously alive.

Siege of Cordor

In the night from the 4th to the 5th Marpenoth 187 AR, brave citizens of Cordor gathered to keep their city safe from the Undead forces led by the dreaded Captain Kragscragger. As fog rolled into the city, the forces of the brave defenders were split up between the main force led by Karistel Daragoth, as well as two smaller, mobile units led by Henry Paternell and Freya Brande respectively.

As the fog grew thicker, the Kraken's Curse sailed into the harbour, and a vision of the undead Captain appeared before the proud Cordorians, offering them a deal, a third of their souls a year. A deal that was, without hesitation, answered with a resounding No, in various different versions. This rejection started the attack, as the ship fired barrels containing undead warriors into the Proud City of Cordor. A fearsome tactic, but the defenders stood strong and weathered the first, concentrated wave, even as two Dracoliches appeared in their midst, and the captain stealing the proud sausages from the Rayne's food cart. As it became clear to the enemy that that approach would never work, the next barrage hit different districts, setting the undead loose in the cultural district, the outskirts and the graveyard. Whilst the forces led by Karistel stood their ground in the government district, the mobile forces swarmed out to defeat the undead ravaging the other districts, each of the enemy forces led by a dracolich.

The battles were heated and fierce, but the mobile teams managed to put the undead threatening the other districts to rest, and arrived just in time back to the government district to fight off the last wave of the attackers. Finally, the captain appeared again, tearing into the forces of the defenders with his fearsome hook whilst consuming the corpses around him to strengthen himself. Not even that could protect him from the might of Proud Cordor, as the defenders did not fall back but pummeled him with all they had, until, at last, he was driven back, defeated by the brave citizens.

Cordor stands, and as long as a single Cordorian Soul still breathes, no undead shall ever reign over us.
