A New Tournament, A New Government!

Hello, good readers in our fair city of Cordor and beyond! A few new items of note occuring within the last few tenday, of which we will list here for your benefit.

Firstly, the Tournament of Champions is once again on the horizon! Hosted and sponsored by the Cultural Ministry, and co-sponsored by House Rivorndir, this marks new Aide to the Cultural Ministry, Cara Carndt's, first tournament! As before, the boards have been set up about the city for those wishing to participate. Simply tack your name up on the board to put your name into the running. Who will participate? Who will win? One thing is for certain - this Cordorian favourite is bound to attract a roaring crowd!

Secondly, alongside Cara Carndt, a few new faces have been shuffled or added to the Cordor government! Lord-General Tera'thiel Eldafire has appointed Magistrate Devon Marshal as the lead investigator for government corruption and abuse of power. Touted as a devout warrior of justice, we look to his performance closely and wish him the best of luck.

To the position of Minister of Trade, Lord Aranzir Amante has been appointed! Lord Aranzir has seen countless years of mercantile success as the leader of the expansive Fallen Stars Merchant Company, the man has a cool, calm, and collected head with a natural affinity for merchantilism and trade. A natural choice for someone to excel at the position, and we look forward to a era of even more prosperous trade!

With all good news, however, there is the unsettling. One Gorehound has made public threats against the city, and sources state that he and his cronies were spotted on the Andunorian warship, warded and armed to the tail for a fight! Be wary, citizens! Keep an eye out, and report any sightings to the closest Guard immediately!
