This appears to be a detailed oil painting set within a gold frame; the frame itself appears to be constructed from solid gold, with small rubies cut in the shape of little roses and inlaid into the frame.

It is a lavish oil painting of a beautiful woman with ashen pale skin. She wears a maroon coloured embroidered tunic and matching leather pants. She is seated with her legs crossed in a oak wood chair, with velvet cushions lining the seat back. The woman's hands clutch an open book, but her bright green eyes gaze up as if she was peering out an open door, her eyes have an eerie red tint as if they were transcending from green to red.

Behind the woman are several book shelves that line the wall wooden cabin's wall, filled with all sorts of books; the titles are blurry, and no details can be obtained from them. Above the shelves on the wall, a banner hangs. The banner appears to be a Silver chalice entwined with a rose and stem on a red field upon a shield. At the bottom of the shield, there is a ribbon that wraps around and displays the name Belle'rose.

To her right, sits oak wood desk, sitting upon it is a stack of parchment, two bottles of dark liquid, both stoppered with corks. Near them are four fancy feathered pens, the colour of a raven. At the far end of the desk, there sits a small portrait of a Half Elven woman wearing a red and black leather tunic and matching pants, her skin pale, she has sharp features and appears to be of Kara-tar descent.

At the bottom and in the center is dark wooden plaque, the wood appears slightly crimson in colour as if it was stained with something, there is a name on it which reads "The Tiefling Merchant".

Also at the bottom and on the right corner it has been signed and dated "11th day of the 1st Month of the 1389DR- Jhi Kir-Khala Belle'rose"

If inspected, the back of the painting reveals a simple hand written inscription:

"To my Mother. Know I love you more in death then life" -Jhi
