House Sh'yalva's Response to the Allegations

I refuse to be brief.

I understand people are furious about us. After all, a giant elemental did say that we were attempting to get it away from Andunor, possibly accusing us of various other things as well.

This elemental did also squash Andunorians to death.

But let's ignore how this elemental squashed Andunorians to death, and look at the mistakes others have also made to make us seem comparatively better.

This "united" Andunor that supposedly exists had a secret plot, not revealed to the public, but hatched behind closed doors, of using an elemental that squashed Andunorians to death in their defense of the city.

Some of Sh'yalva, I among them, wanted to get this elemental that squashed Andunorians to death away from Andunor. Let us say that our intents were pure. Given that this elemental squashed Andunorians to death, I believe our actions were justified. If only we had not been prevented from achieving our schemes.

For trying to get rid of the elemental that squashed Andunorians to death, we have been, again from behind closed doors and without any notions of appeals or investigations, been designated as traitors to be killed.

But let us look at the results:

Sh'yalva's plan if it had been successful: Andunorians do not get squashed to death.

"United" Andunro's plan which did succeed: Andunorians got squashed to death.

Of course, the "governments" of the districts who want us dead are free to still want us dead. After all, they have also called for the deaths of many other Andunorians for far more minor reasons.

But some might say. Well they may have orchestrated sham investigations and high-profile witch hunts to murder more obscure Andunorians for far less, but in -this- case they can be trusted because your name is Treason! But where I'm standing from, their plan led to Andunorians being crushed to death.

Also Treason is a common drow name.
