Thought we were gone, did you? Not so! Our reporters have been hard at work, and these are their findings (I make no promises as to how recent these are - I would also like to apologize to our journalists for taking so long for this)

AN INTERVIEW WITH CORDOR FASHION ICON MALCOLM DUNSMUIR

Recently I was given the opportunity to interview the famed socialite, House Rayne associate and fashion superstar - Malcolm Dunsmuir. Famed for his strange accent and iconic fashion sense, he informed me that his iconic helmet was inspired by a retired style of Cordor Guard Helm, given a touch of personal flair (must be quite old fashioned -ed.)

As it turns out, he is both a treasure-hunter and dragonslayer during the weekends, and adores a plate of Duck with Pancakes for both breakfast and dinner.

Unfortunately he did not have time to continue the interview, as he was once again swarmed by his adoring fans.

DISCONTENT WITHIN THE RADIANT HEART

When granted the opportunity to inquire as to consternation between the Radiants, I had to take the offer - after all, when paladins are losing, we all win (our editorial staff does not necessarily share the alignment of our journalists -ed.)

The white-and-gold-clad Helmite (who requested to stay anonymous) informed me that there is a growing discontent within the ranks of the Radiant Heart, before blessing her scimitar again. Apparently there has developed a significant overlap betwenn members of the Heart and members of the Order of Ascension (who incidentally offered me a job when I inquired as to their cause (I know the instinct -ed.)). This overlap has apparently led to an increase of internal strife and bureaucratic nonsense within the Heart, much to the relief of the rest of the world.

MULHORANDI PRIESTHOOD FACING HARDSHIP

I recently stumbled across one of the Priests of Horus while waiting in line at the bank. As it turns out, the Mulhorandi Priesthood in Sibayad has seen better days, as their turnouts have been less than stellar. A notably polite man, he assured me that I would be welcome to join their sermons anytime, though admittedly I am concerned amidst rumors of grilled Half-Orc on Sibayadi Inn menus.

BRAVE HEROES FAIL TO ASSASSINATE CHANCELLOR

(I would like to again point out that we do not necessarily share the views of our journalists, and the editorial staff of the Guldorand Herald remains strictly neutral regarding political assassinations -ed.)

A recent assassination attempt has been made on Chancellor Crane of Cordor. Tragically, the assassins (whose names shall remain undisclosed to protect their honor) were victims to tragically poor luck. I will be praying for the families of the deceased, and for the next attempt to succeed.

HINSPIRACY UNRAVELED - FUZZYPAWS FLEE MOMENTS BEFORE RAID

The Hinspiracy - that is, the secret society of Halflings that rule the surface from the shadows - continues to show its hands. Mere moments before a Drow raid on Cordor (surely exaggerated rumors, drow are just a myth -ed.), a handful of Fuzzypaw Halflings (and no one else, coincidentally) fled the scene despite no warning being given out. Fed up with this being just another in a long series of Halfling Scheming, I demanded comments from the occupants of the Earthkin Village before being escorted out.

KHORIN CINDERSTONE - VIGILANTE?

Dear reader, ask yourself this: do you ever wonder what Khorin Cinderstone - Trade Baron, Smithing Magnate, Romance Icon and Interplanary Duergar of Mystery (this is true, I have seen him in Dis, not that I necessarily agree with the alignment of the Hells -ed.) - does when nobody's looking?

I have it on good authority from a close associated I smoke Guaji Root with (the editorial staff does support its journalists in this -ed.) that there have been eye-witness reports that criminals, brigands and ne'er-do-wells all across the land, from Cordor to Andunor are being confronted by an anonymous masked Duergar.

Whenever the poor and downtrodden are faced with their darkest hour (again, we do not necessarily share the alignments of our journalists -ed.), this Dwarf of Legend springs from the shadows to save them from fates most horrible. When thanked for his heroism, he simply speaks the letter "K" and leaves as quickly as he arrived.

Take just a moment to connect the dots: Khorin is seen nearly twenty-four hours a cycle, vanishing for only minutes at a time - just as long as it would take to spring into action and save the meek before returning to his business, acting as though nothing had happened. My associate was too busy with a coughing fit to provide further details, but I am certain that more sightings of our Duergar Hero are soon to follow.

DUERGAR DELVES DEEP DESPITE DIRE HISTORY?

Our journalists report that there is a deep plot in the making between some group in our sunny lands and a duergar it hired. The leadership and rank-and-file of this conspiracy remain a mystery, it is clear that they wish to cooperate with the devil-and-demon worshipping monsters of the Underdark. Supposedly the "influence campaign" is aimed to take seed in Greyport, the Underdark city's largest trade district.

And that is all for now, do not forget: "Whispers, light as feathers, travel as far as birds!" So whisper a lot, and if you can somehow find our offices, do tell us some rumors, won't you?
