Official Announcement: Vampire Regulations

People of Sibayad,

Peace and Prosperity are amongst the greatest objectives of the Council of Sibayad to maintain. We want all those who choose to visit or reside here Sibayad to feel as safe as possible.

This can only be achieved if we listen to our people and take their concerns and objections seriously. Many of you have informed us of the unease they feel when vampires roam the sands. While Sibayad opens its gates to all, it cannot be denied that some of our visitors and residents may be perceived to boast a greater threat than others.

As such, the Council of Sibayad has decided to create additional policies surrounding the visitation of vampires.

Vampires may not hold any position of influence within the government of Sibayad or its running in any way. This was already previously decided by the Merchant League and is something the Council agrees on unanimously.

New policies surrounding the visitation of vampires in Sibayad has been written and provided by our Lord Commander of the Arbitration Office. This decision comes after a previous policy that was introduced on Lycans and their requirement to carry a writ that allows them to be in Sibayad.

No matter Lycan, Vampire, Drow, Elf, Kobold, Hin or otherwise.. Sibayad remains a neutral trade settlement that will open its gates to all who come in peace. The Sibayad Council does not support or condone the raiding or warfare by its own people or outside onto its trade partners. Measures will be taken in the future for all who's presence may pose a threat and risk to Sibayad.
