Citizens of Sibayad,

THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS CRITICAL FOR ONE'S SURVIVAL AND THE SURVIVAL OF OUR CITY. PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW CAREFULLY.

Preparations continue for the inevitable arrival of the Captain. Since my last update, I have received critical information from the city of Cordor that will allow us to better protect our people based on their own experiences with the Captain's attack.

As such, I request all people of Sibayad to do the following:

Ironguts potions

Carry with you Ironguts potions. It is said that the Captain has True Ghouls at his disposal which can infect the living in matter of minutes to turn into Ghouls themselves. Ironguts potions help to slow the spread of this. Please seek our a healer to remove the infection as quickly as possible. You can buy unlimited Ironguts potions from the Djinni in the arena district.

Ghostfire

We have made preparations to combat the Ghostfire infections by dousing leather in holy water which should put out any fire immediately. Report to the clinic (Lora Thendry) to get some blankets.

Bombards

Bombards have been set up around the city. Powderstones are available and barrels of blessed water placed with the bombards to douse the powderstones in holy water. If you know how to operate a bombard or want to learn, report to Nieri Aetherforge.

Hallowing

While much of the city is already hallowed, there are still some areas left to do. If you are a clergy capable of hallowing, please report to Orifire Swiftmane, Lora Thendry or myself. We still have some offerings to complete multiple hallowings across the city, but we need more clergy.

Captain's Hook

It has been witnessed that the Captain's hook can wipe anyone from existence in the blink of an eye. People should avoid contact with the hook at -any- cost.

Bodies of the fallen Undead

Our citizens and allies should be raised if possible. But for any undead destroyed, their bodies must be immediately burned. Powerful undead use the bones of other fallen undead to feed, grow, heal and become more powerful. Fire bombs will be provided where possible, but we ask that all undead bodies are destroyed with fire the moment they fall.

Fall back points

Strategic fall back points have been chosen in the event we are overwhelmed and evacuation becomes critical. This will be communicated through designated Sibayadi leaders and Arbiters. I will not be sharing this publicly at this point as the Captain has eyes everywhere.

Halt Undead and other critical spells

It is recommended to carry Halt Undead wands or spell preparations such as Undeath to Death. Since we don't know when he will attack, I recommend updating spell books as if an attack is imminent.
