Account: Edmund Sorrel is standing in the Nomad drinking when he strikes up a conversation with the suspect that I believe is Carl Nefzen by the description. (dark armor with dark cloths, elf, halberd)
Edmund Sorrel claims that Carl and he started talking about horses. Edmund suggested that Carl get a better horse after Carl tried to brag about the one he owned.
Carl threatened to kill him and cut his horse into ribbons. The Order of the Stranger, by Edmund's testimony, stood by and did nothing to help him. (not that they have an obligation to, being private citizens)
Edmund left right then and there and tried to find someone to complain to, but couldn't.
