Concerning the Undead Pirate Captain: Coming Trines
The Republic of Guldorand, under my rule, as High Sheriff seeks to tighten our cooperation in these times of danger. This is not the first time, nor the last the Andunorians and the Sencliff Pirates will put us in danger. The Saltspar Garrison, the Briz'zeks aid towards the for mentioned faction and their ascension to leadership of the Devil's Table along with cooperation with Sencliff and their pirates paints an ill omen for the future.
We, of Guldorand seeks to deepen these four steps
1 Training
2 Logistics
3 Communication
4 Information
Along with A pledge of all signing parties to where possible, move against any hostile incursion upon the surface lands of Arelith.
Part of this would contain
* Sharing the names of military heads who can be contacted in the event of said incursion. This would ideally be lieutenants or equivalent rank, or other officer with the authority to send reinforcement to area in need.
* Sharing of non-confidential military intelligence, such as battle reports. This will allow us to keep track of notable attackers, tactics and strategies employed by the enemy, as well as coordination our own styles of battle.
* An Pledge to organise shared training exercises. This has already been put into motion in some settlements. But an larger focus on seeing our forces able to work together flawlessly.
I believe these points are well understood and with the latest battles seen, more training and cooperation is essential. Battles are not only won with the best fighters but with the best training, logistics, communication and information to build a proper strategical and tactical platform for our future prosperity and security.
Regularly upholding these four points are essential.
The structural leadership of this pact, I would suggest a council to not put one faction above the other. I also suggest that it essentially focuses on Andunor and hostile Sencliff pirates to avoid internal strife in the future, should elected leaders in one or other settlement, noble house or other participant organization change to become unsatisfying to other settlement, noble house or otherwise, the Defensive Pact members should avoid calling for aid to destroy each others internally in the pact.
All signees are expected to contribute to the Pact. Be it by sea, land, intelligence, supplies or otherwise.
