High Sheriff No Longer

As mentioned below, I have been repeatedly targetted by the Assassin's guild, cheap contracts meant only to allow for the office of High Sheriff to be vulnerable to a forced re-election.

They succeeded today. I was raised from death, and am recovering. I name my assassin as Sarek. I remind those who vote in this forced election to remember who benefits most politically from my removal. To be aware of what sort of person would hire assassins to win an election. To remember that paid votes are common in these elections, and that one should rally behind the righteous candidate in simultaneous support and opposition.

To that end, Sirica Obellis, who has endlessly impressed me from the day I met her, is running as that righteous candidate. She has my full support, and has proven herself to be politically savvy, wise in her perceptions, skilled in her diplomacy, and kind in her actions. I cannot think of someone better suited to take my place and make it a wonderful place to live and work and raise our families.
