HEADLINE: Emerald Ghosts in the Water
The brave ironclad, the "Clockwork Aegis", captained by Nieri Aetherforge, has met with and engaged in combat with a new threat to the cerulean waves, an emerald-sail six-story vessel, captained by the long-dead Captain Krakscragger and named the "Kraken's Curse". Unlike the undead vessels near the edges of the Arelithian waters, this captain and crew spoke and waged war first.
It hosts a massive crew of skeletons and boasts a dracolich in its arsenal. This captain promises to ravage the local waters until none are left. It has already boasted of having sunk many Cordorian vessels. Sailors, beware the fogs and ringing of a single bell!
Vampires be warned!
The people spoke, the Vizier listened! New policies require vampires to REGISTER to be allowed in town, a new way to keep those pesky blood suckers from hunting the alleys at night looking for a quick bite! No feeding, no weird mind shenanigans! One citizen offered the response of, "Good! Make them pay!" Another gave a more sour reaction, "Better off banned entirely." Overall, the response to the change seems positive.
Signs will be about the entrances to the town explaining these new restrictions, let's see which vampire defaces them first!
Plans for the water?
The Sibayad Town is working on a project involving its supply of water, known as Project Clarity. Ran by Viceroy Nieri Aetherforge, it aims to do some type of regulating of the city's water supplies.
A kobold working on the project was asked to comment, but it declined other than stating, "Industry." The project appears to be drawing workers of all sorts, from planners to laborers. A good way to make coin and help the Jewel of the Desert!

Masks in the Night
There is a rumor going around that Vizier Helbrecht wears masks when performing his most heinous acts. What are these acts, you ask? Parties!
A masked ball is slated to be coming soon on the 1st of Uktar, right after midnight, a party to let loose and drink the cactus juice. Look to the official announcements, and prepare your masks and best outfits!
Cordor's Double Standards?
Word from the Isle of Arelith and the streets, people of Cordor nobles take issue with some of Sibayad's visitors and those who walk in the sand. But dear reader, out in the open, the Cordorian Nobles meet openly with Vampires and sit right by them, discussing plans. Perhaps their most elite citizenry should answer? A conundrum, surely, who's to say who has the moral high ground here?
Spotlight: Frank
A joy of the town, make sure to meet Frank the monkey! Often found in the middle of the bazaar of by his special bowl of fruits, a true delight for buyers and merchants both. But be warned, any dropped fruit will be claimed by Frank!
