I have served as Lord Protector for some time, but my time has come to an end. With my son's promotion to Deacon in the church, I feel that family ties could lead to improper situations between protectorate and church. Therefore, in my last two acts as a member of the council, I do support my son's promotion into the church, and I will complete the trial of Julia Bloodmoon. Following this, I will stand down and appoint Sir Arlan Garrison as our new Lord Protector. It has been an honour to serve, I will remain here at the keep, but in an advisory role only for those who seek my council - as does my predecessor Meegat.
