It is by Her that we stand before images of Her Beauty, Her Terror, and Her Will.
Lloth be praised.
We begin by formally recognizing the Dreaded Matrons in attendance with us this cycle.
Blessed be those of Xel'vraxa, their works within this District and in service to our Queen unquestionable!
Praised be the blood of Z'ress, their deeds echoing far back and strength demonstrated to us in the present cycle!
It is an interesting time in our lives. A pause of breath, held long in anticipation of the first to take action. Of tense muscle, strained sight, vigilant guards. We all wait for that one...
Push.
The first one to act, the first blade to be drawn or arrow to fly. It is not peace but muted war. We prepare for the unknown and it is overdue to be banished. We are shamed in our skirmishes. Jumping at shadows and whispers of surfaces roaming the 'dark. Chasing an individual, a small team in response, back and forth.
Some would say this is a time to abide. To wait patiently, to grow and prepare.
We have had our time.
Within these next cycles we prepare to weave webs in distant locations, both above and below. Passivity turns to action, reaction turns to decisive victories. We will spread Her word and those opposed to it will hear it and despair. Myon is just the first. They have bore witness to an offering of what is to come. I am sure some of you have seen the signs posted about an art piece.
Our blood is ambitious.
We will not be content with statements and words but action. We are bid, commanded by our Queen to retake back what is rightfully ours. We shall. This altar behind me was noted to be unstained by the blood of surfacers.
It is a canvas that needs paint.
Each House shall make an offering of hated surfacer blood to our Queen - in the form of whole body, head, or collected and spilled upon its surface. Our Queen is ravenous, faithful, and she must be satisfied.
Our blood is ambitious.
We are no strangers to weaving webs that guide others along as we bid. Whether it is through brute force, guile, or deception She will have what She is owed.
Over the next cycles to come I will be arranging for those to come forward with offerings to our Queen to be recognized and offer in a Service her Due. I will be honored to do so for Xun'viir.
The Surfacers have asked for a response from a powerful House to the attacks they have faced?
This is my response: bleed and suffer.
Before I close with a prayer I would like to recognize another of our own.
Those who would step forward on the path of service to our Queen, and rise within the Temple, stepped forward before the congregation. The Temple recognizes T'rissolin Mel-virr, Chosen of our Lady. Before us all she has oathed:
"All that I do is in Her name to give what She is owed. To be here is what I desire so that I may fulfill these duties."
Our blood is ambitious.
Blessed be her desire to exalt our Queen in service.
She is thus named yath'abban, and she shall learn and strive to become greater than she is now.
Lloth be praised.
Praised be to our Queen, for we toil in Her Name. Praised be to our Queen, for we fear failure in our works. Praised be to our Queen, for we exalt the Webs that you weave for us. Praised be to our Queen, for we hate the weak that hold us back. Praised be to our Queen, for we praise the strength you have given us. Lloth be praised.
It is in Your Name I work, my Queen, and I give my service in sweat and blood... by this oath I am bound, for it shall not dry until I have pleased you with the flesh of your betrayers.
