Candidate Flint for the Arcane Affairs Ministry

Spoke at length with the subject, getting his view on what he sees the arcane ministry dealing with.

Desires cooperation with mages across the isle to better improve those who use the arcane, and have a network to find out those who would abuse such with pacts and shadowmagics.

Wishes to alter the non monolithic summon laws during times of city wide peril letting them be allowed same as golems.

Wants to bring more knowledge to the arcane arts as a whole, by holding mage fairs, exhibitions, and festivals for the public to ease some fears of those who practice the magical arts.

Wnats to make it so Cordor can be a center for Arcane instruction much like the Tower, and be more open to the common citizen.

Had no issue turning over day to day management of his trade group while he would be serving in office, thus not having a conflict of interest.

Had no agenda of making a private arcane poiicing force, and will bring all cases needing such to the Guard and work in cooperation on such matters.

Had no desire whatsoever to be an arcane overlord of the isles magic in sense, merely wishing that magic be more open and not lodged in mystery and deception.

Mister Flint in my opinion has the correct mindset for the task at hand in order to serve what is best for Cordor and the isle in this Ministry posting.

All other private background checks have come back without a report nor rumor of impropriety or deception in either trade nor in personal affairs.
