I arrived at Bendir Dale this afternoon, coming from the south. As soon as I crossed the hill, I stepped into the midst of a fierce battle. Colav Arniman and the gnome, Drugrin, were engaged against several others, including mage Orion Gend and Tok, Warden of Brogendenstein.
Orion and Tok had fallen shortly after I arrived. I immediately entered the fray to protect their bodies, slaying Colav Arniman. Drugrin transformed himself and ran off with Colav's corpse.
There were others involved helping Tok and Orion, but I did not catch their names.According to Tok, Colav Arniman had summoned a powerful mummy and was lurking outside of Bendir Dale. One of them, presumably Drugrin, had been using a beholder-like familiar to spy on the fort. Tok challenged them, unwilling to permit such activity on Earthkin Alliance land. As of writing, Drugrin has fled with the remains of Colav and the fort appears peaceful. *signed*
