Grove Mother's Pictograms - Tadala's Notes

A notebook containing various pages of pictograms and messy writings. These are the notes left by Tadala, also known as "Grove Mother."  

Know This:  Grove Mother Now Rests.

Bat was the only wildwalker who wished the responsibility of becoming the Archdruid and so be it.  None have responded or supported.  Then Grove Mother will leave the responsibility of the Heartwood Grove in Bat's hands.

Grove Mother has accomplished what she came to do. Return much life to Heartwood Grove, and it is felt has done so.  Grove Mother thank all her wonderfull children and will think about them during her time of rest.

Grove Mother's mind has strayed much and is not what use to be.  Heart felt it was time to pass Heartwood Grove to another.  Wildwalkers Grove Mother asks you give Bat your love, kindness and help.  For his task is not an easy one.

Know this:  Is time for Archdruid.

Grove Mother has did much.  Has brought much life to Groves, this one and Jungle and even now work on Zhurkwood.  But is time for a Archdruid of Heartwood.  Grove Mother is too tired and needs help.

Is beginning to make mistakes.  Has heard words of others that has endangered Grove with Gnolls, Necromancers, and those against Myon.  Has heard some wish to leave, form another Grove.  Grove Mother beg no do this.  Will step down.

Grove Mother is tired, is old, and has made mistakes.  Grove Mother mind not what use to.  This is why another needs to come.  Needs to become Archdruid.  Those who wish do so post upon board.  Names posted others need to post support.

Grove Mother never ask anything from Wildwalkers until now.  Please, one needs to take position of Archdruid so Grove Mother can rest.  Post words upon board so others may post their support.

Know this: Effigy

The person who has done this, is a fey pacted female.  One who follows those of the Winter Court.  Grove Mother has had words with this one.  Sadly, they did no seem to be heard.  Grove Mother warned the female to stop what wishes to do.

Female's heart was set upon it.  She means to turn Heartwood Grove Trees into anger and rage.  Trees that in her eyes will eat life which is beautiful to her and her masters.  Grove Mother would not have it.  

Grove Mother know many Wildwalkers are angry at female, and perhaps rightly so.  Though Grove Mother heart tells her this is a wildwalker even if of the Winter Court.  Her blood shall not be spilled upon Grove soil.  

Grove Mother is no sure if female will come around.  Will pray to Ubtao that such may be so.  That she will listen to words, and take talents where they are best in balance.  Grove Mother does know female is alone, and cannot live long without a pack.

Cordor Guard, or any part of Law of Cordor no come.  Will ask leave.  No wish Cordor Taint inside Heartwood Grove.

Know This: Grove Mother growing tired.

Grove Mother growing very tired.  No know how much longer be Grove Mother.  Needs a Archdruid to come for Heartwood Grove so Grove Mother can rest.  Wildwalkers need agree on archdruid so we may continue work already done.

Know This: Wharftown

Grove Mother have words with new Chief of Wharftown.  Words are good Grove Mother enjoy what hear.  Chief speak of wish live in balance with nature.  ASk for help from Grove to do this.  Grove Mother will go and asks Wildwalkers as well.

Help Wharftown and waymen truely live in balance.  Let us see if Chief words are truths.

Know this: Bramble Watch.

Grove Mother had words with new Bramble Watch Chief.  Is old Ranger who been part of Grove very long time.  Grove Mother hear feel Ranger wishes best for Bramble, and wishes little or nothing to do with tainted Guard of Cordor.

Bramble Watch Chief ask any wildwalkers who wish help in Bramble come contact.  Bramble Chief only wish bring Bramble Watch back to life then step aside for another.  Is willing hear words of other Rangers who wish come help.

Know this though, Gnoll tribe very grumpy with Bramble Watch Chief.  May war soon, wildwalkers must think of this before.  Grove Mother only wishes balance in Brambles and no taint.  Wildwalkers please be carefull.  Grove Mother heart break any are eaten.

Know This Zhurkwood Grove:

Grove Mother had words with Caretaker of Zhurkwood Grove. It was very odd.  Caretaker is goblin name of Spets.  Who also Queen of Goblins.  Is unknown how much problem this cause.  The Caretaker spoke about mostly goblin problems.

Grove Mother worry Spets heart leans too far for its poeple then for Zhurkwood.  More will be known in future talks.

Was agreed Grove Mother and Jungle Grove archdruid will come to Zhurkwood to have more talks.  All hope to complete cycle of Druid Cycles, Heartwood birth, Jungle life, and Zhurkwood death.  Much can be gained for all wildwalkers if circle completeled.

Other Groves of Island.

All Wildwalkers, know this:  We have grown to many, and our protection of The Great Cycle and nature grows with this.  The Jungle Grove slowly returns to life and with it have its own purpose.  That purpose is up to its Archdruid.

Any Wildwalkers wishing to help the Jungle Grove travel there and post words on board.  If no know how get find Grove MOther and will take. Remember, The Jungle Grove is not Heartwood it does what it wishes.

Know This:  There are also Wildwalkers who have taken interest in bringing life back to the Zhurkwood Grove.  This is a dangerous task, but for those who wish to work on this contact Skunk or Kor' Vith also known as Old Bear.

The Zhurkwood Grove is in the Darkness so one will need work with GreyDruids and others of darkness.  Grove Mother does not wish blood over Zhurkwood, just the joining of all with same goals.

The Bramble Chief is no more.  Is Unclear what Cordor Sheep Prison will do.  Is known slavers hunt in Bramble, tribe of Kobolds, Drekken, live there as well.  Will need speak of this next moot.

Alpha Gnoll Chief speak with Grove Mother.  Gnolls should no more hunt in Arelith Forest for now.  Any Wildwalker finding Gnoll tracks find out why here please post on boards.

Any wildwalker near Dwarven Home Grove Mother ask please check on Ice Spider population near.  Female Dwarf Chief fears why Ice Spiders now on mountain when not use be.

Know This:

Grove Mother has spoken with the Goldenwing Zara.  The female regrets her past errors, and seems to wish to learn balance in heart and deeds.  Grove Mother removed sign.  Request no more point and boo.

Grove Mother has spoken with Alpha of Gnoll Tribe.  A deal has been struck where they will no more hunt in Arelith forest for now.  Wildwalkers, speak to Grove Mother for further words upon this.  

Last, our wonderful friends of Bendir wish words on paper for alliance.  Grove Mother explained Wildwalkers no care for paper or words but deeds.  Grove Mother will sign, but never force Wildwalkers help Bendir if no wish.  It will mean more Hin patrolling forest.

Know This:

Our Myron friends have been attacked.  Sacred grounds of dead may be tainted.  Grove Mother asks any druid or wildwalker wish to aid send message to Myron chiefs.

Gnolls has placed message on board.  One with ear, another with words.  Grove Mother will contact Alpha and have words.  If no return know Gnoll have eaten Grove Mother.  

To Wildwalker keeping meat in Chest.  Does need so much?  Room is running out.  Grove Mother also place bow for wildwalker to use inside.

Grove Mother will call moot soon and much discussed.  No yet time set for moot, but wish speak on following:

There have been many Gnolls sightings in forest as well as ones who have come to the Heartwood Grove.  Including one who put own ear on Board.  Ones who come to Grove been respectful whereas Cordor Sheep have not.

Grove Mother would speak of this with wildwalkers decide what need done if anything about gnoll presence.  Second: Female Chief of Dwarves request time to speak on Ice Spiders appearing near Dwarf home.

Third: Updates on Shadow Alters in Shadowwood if any had.  Updates from Elf Knight on cleaning taint of Minmir.  Dicuss Sheep of Cordor seen stealing items of Grove home chests.
