This is a statement from the Pack, delivered openly so there is no misunderstanding.
The Hemomancer Eduard Helbrecht met the Lycnthrope Ulvric Wolfhide in a formal duel. Eduard was slain.
The reasons for this action are as follows:
Spreading falsehoods and rumours about Ulvric and the Pack.
He forced Ulvric into exile on baseless claims.
Members of their pack murdered Ulvric's wife, Violet.
Their agent, Bell the Kenku, repeatedly broke into our home.
Their declaration of war against our pack.
All we ever wished was to be left alone.
With Eduard's death, the matter is considered settled on our end. A life was taken from us, and now one has been taken in return.
Our stance is the same as from the beginning; We seek no further conflict, no further retaliation, and no further contact.
But we will defend ourselves.
Leave us be, and we will do the same.
