We bring an update on our beloved desert jewel regarding recent developments and achievements.

Diplomacy Announcements:

For those that recall some weeks back, Sibayad's relations with Andunor had been strained - with hostilities declared by Howler's Rest. Since then, a formal peace agreement has been reached with the Rest and the matter is settled.

Relations with Andunor have likewise improved and Sibayadi citizens are permitted there once more. We are also pleased to confirm that a peace treaty has been signed with Greyport - a welcome step toward lasting stability.

However, while citizens are permitted entry, all are reminded to respect the laws and customs of each district - being Sibayadi is not a free pass to venture there recklessly, and not all districts welcome all people equally.

Envoys of Sibayad:

Our newly appointed Envoys have begun their work in earnest, and their efforts in representing Sibayad abroad have already borne fruit - in places such as Cordor, Bendir Dale, the Sharps, Greyport, and the Minmir Keep.

A small number of Envoy positions remain open. Those with a mind for diplomacy and a familiarity with the place they wish to work with are encouraged to step forward - the position is paid.

Trade & Industry:

Thanks to the tireless efforts of the Merchant Marine, our warehouses have reached an all-time high in stock and supply. Sibayad's trade network continues to strengthen, as do its riches and opportunities.

Library Updates:

The Sibayadi library continues its steady expansion, now holding over six hundred unique works within its catalogue.

To further this effort, the city offers 10,000 gold per newly submitted work, except for romance novels - the library's appetite for it has been thoroughly satisfied, so we aren't paying for more of those at present.

Additionally, those willing to host lessons on subjects of interest are welcomed to speak with the library curators for details - we will offer compensation in coin accordingly!
