Oh, you poor thing, trapped in eternal night, No love to warm you, no joy in sight. How tragic, your endless, unfeeling pain? Immortality's gift, a venomous chain.

Do tell me more of your sorrowful plight, As you stalk the shadows, avoiding the light. No thrill of life, no beating heart, Just centuries of silence, tearing you apart.

How pitiable, this "gift" of endless breath, To be spared from life, yet bound to death. Forever estranged from the pulse of delight, Your existence as cold as the moon?s pale light.

But please, indulge me with tales of despair, Of emotions lost, of love left nowhere. Oh, what a burden it must truly be, To live beyond joy, beyond the need to be free.

You envy the mortal, whose days are brief--Whose hearts can shatter, but still find relief. You loathe the living, who blaze and fade, Yet deep in the shadow, you wish you had stayed.

See how they dance, those mortals fleeting, Flesh alight with passion, with hearts still beating. Their laughter spills over like torrential rain, While you linger untouched, frozen in pain.

Their lives are chaos, a fevered race, To love, to lose, to conquer their space. But you, oh, you, so still, so cold--A lifeless breath, a story untold.

Feel the chill of your touch, a frost that bites, Hear the silence that echoes through endless nights. No heartbeat to stir, no pulse to claim, Only the solitude of your immortal shame.

Their bonds may shatter, their days may wane, Yet their fleeting joys outweigh your pain. For every heartbeat, every fleeting thrill, Is more than your eternity will fulfill.

But alas, my immortal, your lament is mine -- And still you endure, through endless time. Bound by the curse, to envy and mourn, An eternity hollow, forever forlorn.</poem>
