And when the Phaerimm emerged from beneath what is now the Anuroch desert and began to sap the magic that is held the great cities afloat, so it was suffering from war and scandal, shattered rather then united. So it was that once-great houses fought amongst themselves and within themselves, and brother turned incantation against sister.

Yet while nearly all the noble houses collapsed in this manner, some fell deeper than others. The beasts of these families, casting aside any loyalties to their humanity or civilization, sought out the wicket Phaerrim. In the dank pit of the Phaerimm breeding tunnels, in view of the living victims held paralyzed as Phaerimm larvae consumed them from within, these traitorous nobles scraped and groveled. Thus, in betrayal of their kin, did they secure their lives and knowledge.

Among these names, deserving to be stricken from history, but even more deserving to be reviled for eternity, are the houses Ychall, Sanna, Reckhim, Allios, and-- That is all that can be deciphered.
