Whatever should we call this thinly spread layer of fabric which defines our meager little presence and existence in the realms. A concealing illusion which is oft so very present in our daily lifes. To a mortal, the evershifting ground and rock beneath our feet loses its meaning due to the lack of comprehending time in all of its infinity, or even finity. I say, 'tis past the point of reasoning or even past the matters which we as a race should even focus upon. Your little contribution, in whatever extend bears only the light weight of a single grain of sand in the vast expanse of a desert, this meaningless concept of time you and I have come upon to agree as an universal truth. You, and I are merely part of the grey matter of substance that is labled as "life". It means nothing, yet to us, 'tis everything. The nigh fatalistic tendencies of attempting to aknowledge oneself as an individual entity of some importance?

I say, nay .. We are a whole, we create an image of ourselfs based on what we were, how our history has defined us to be this very cycle. You as a single insignificant speck of a dust merge yourself into the whole that is all of our kind, the ancient Ilythiiri. Without the vast expanse of millenias before us, without the libraries worth of ancient knowledge and retellings of instances, you and I lose the meaning of existence: We came from nowhere, we've nowhere to go, no reason to hold onto such silly concepts of pride or anger, if there's nothing to relate them into. Hear, as they mock us, our ways. The ancient dark magics of the old world which burnt the forests of our rivals into nothing but ash and smoldering cinder. They denounced us as the dhaerow, the enemies of the world. .. Be proud of that, because that is your legacy. The ancient demon-fire of the old world. The tribes of the old world trembled before your ancestors' cruelty and absolute display of power beyond any restriction.

They .. Fear us, they fear you because of what we were made into, what we made ourselfs to become. That is your stigma, my brother, my prestigious sister. The mark of Wendonai is ancient but ever so smoldering within' our hateful, spiteful gaze. They .. Had nothing to stop us with, the Seldarine were forced to the extreme to banish us into the unfathomable darkness of the underdark, foolishly hoping us to become prisoners, lost in the abyss of our own hate. Yet .. They were wrong, the ancient tribes and the Seldarine, they were /wrong/. They could not imprison us, our ancestors paved their way through the darkness with our inborn hatred and will of destruction, and so we made the darkness into our empire. We broke the bonds of our prison, we destroyed the stone encasing us into the darkness and filled it with our and our enemies' blood.

We have only one path, and that is to death and to destruction, ours and theirs. That is what you are made for, that is the reason why each ccycle, you feel that anger pounding in your chest. They are nothing, were we not there to bring the fear in their hearts. There is naught but life and then there is death, and you are the epitome of survival of the fittest. Kill them .. Bring their hearts to our queen, because she yearsn fo her children to carry on with the grim, dark pathway to utter devastation. When they speak the name drow: Be proud, hold up your chin and grind, brandish the demonic mark upon your forehead and draw your sword .. Destroy them and their world, for /we/ define what destruction is. Be proud, and be one with the tribe .. As a whole, we are /invincible/. That is a legacy to behold, that is powerful! Anything else loses its meaning, because we create history through bloodshed and domination, we are the ones defining what power is, and what it means to rule.

Be proud of what you are .. Because there is nothing else more terrifying, nothing else more truly heinous, nothing more powerful than the /drow/. Our legacy is the millenias expanding hatred, seething rage and utter will for dominance. They .. Are not ready to sacrifise the world, so to rule it .. They are terrified of it, they are afraid to dominate the land they live in .. We are the drow, our blood is noble and high, we were created to rule and dominate, to make war. We are conduits of destruction and power, whether they agree upon it, or not. Their legacy was made by the wake of /our/ destruction. We made the world know fear, we define what domination and absolute rulership is.
