View source for Report on Lazarus Caan and the Blight

During the past months, an adaptable and semi-intelligent necrotic disease known as the Blight has ravaged Arelith. The disease first appeared in the Arelith Forest and proceeded to spread throughout the island.

The source of this disease was determined to be malicious devices placed in strategic points, designed to infect as many people as possible. The designer of these devices and the creator of the disease itself was a man named Lazarus Caan.

This man long took refuged in the abyssal fortress. Not only did he spread the disease, he was apparently infected himself and went mad from it. He experimented on others, and sacrificed many to advance his own studies.
