In the dark our battles fought,
In the dark the shadows wrought,

On weathered stones burned old Guld,
Birthed to new creatures of night and some old,
A silver wyrm in brog too squirmed,
Sealed too was the fate of enemies old,
Thought to keep safe from us in spellhold,
Even in the deepest dark caves many fear,
The denizens whispers reach our mothers ears,
Of the void cult, and churches of the night,
These depreaved souls too felt the shadows might,
Not one mage of false weave can claim this same right,

White idols, spiders, and fiends alike,
false idol gods move their pawns with delight,
So too they follow blindly in massive throngs,
In their keeping to old and stable ways,
They fail to understand harm in their ego filled craze,

Yet here lie the shadows that know her will,
Act in the night and remove those wishing her children ill,
We work to shatter the balance even still,
So that false light, and day break might be killed,
Hail to all those that labored and fought,
To witness one day the long night each sought,
I praise you all as family with this quill.
