In the wake of this great tragedy, one that is quite personal to me, as it is also to you, I will be trying my best to see that hole left in Daedin's place is kept as full as possible until a time comes when better arrangements can be made.

TO that end I wanted to keep you both apprised of the steps I have taken to bring the Vela'lateau together and keep the forest safe.

# Members of the vela'shil known to me have been discreetly contacted and informed of what has happened. I have requested that word be passed amongst themselves and that all members, as soon as they are able, report in as to the status of their missions. I suggested they meet with either of you preferably, but myself if necessary.
# That all members of Vela'Lateau's other branches be contacted and asked to report to the city so that regular patrols of the forest can be organized and an accurate roster made.
# That recruiting efforts and the effort to supply the Vela'Lateau continue as they are, if they cannot be increased, I have asked Ania to see to recruitment and supplies, as these tasks will keep her out of harms way
# I have spoken with Lomilith and through her the archmage requesting their presence as often as possible, and that Lady Elar supply various wands and scrolls.
# Ariel has been agreed to help patrol the forest and aid in any other tasks she is given, including the training of any new recruits, although she does not wish to join the blades directly. She as affirmed that in time of need she will gladly act as directed by either of yourselves or an appropriate member of the blades.
# Until I can present a respectable presence in the woods I have requested aid from Light Keep in the form of bringing some of their recruits on patrol. While on patrol with an appropriate member of the Vela'lateau I have been assured these recruits will act only under orders, and in the best interest of Myon. I have specifically requested the aid of elven members of the keep

I would like your advice and opinions on these steps or what others should be taken.
