<br>BACKGROUND

Korthal the Greedy, an ancient Red Dragon wishes to claim the lands from the Spine of the World down the Sword Coast.

To do so, he must slay all the powerful metallic dragons.

Korthal attacked Mildenhaul, slew a third of the people there, and killed their Gold Dragons. His army included orcs, goblins, drow, young red dragons and adult white dragons.. Korthal did not get any treasure from Mildenhaul.

Now Korthal comes here to slay Darnoth and burn the Golden Halls.

<br>CURRENTLY

Korthal has made forays into Brogendenstein terrritory. He has sent scores of Orcs to the walls of Brogendestein. The rangers at Jory's Lodge were slaughtered, but Icehold's defenses held strong.
<br>With access to cave tunnels, the Orcs could begin to pillage the lowlands. Korthal will also likely press other dragons to join his cause.

Thane Troki Brightbeard declares we must locate Korthal and his warband as soon as possible.

<br>DISCUSSION

Frau suggested the use of acid.

Exordius suggested cold spells.

Maya suggested the use of Dosjuntion Bolts.

Bladekeeper Onaeya  suggested using divination to locate Krothal while also attacking orc strongholds to deprive him of armies and gather information.

A silver dragonborn suggested using her and her mother as bait to anger Korthal as they are from Ten Towns in the Spines.

A suggestion was made to draw out Korthal with a pool of Darnoth's blood. This was quickly dismissed.

Aere's suggestion was to create a mythal to draw out Korthal. This was dismissed by the dragonbloods as it would affect all of them, Darnoth included.

Biam, Mayor of Bendir, suggested using Captain Krakscraggers' poison on Korthal. This was dismissed as it is a Dracolich creator.

Odan agreed divining the position of the orc armies might be successful. Gather the names of their commanders for even better scrying and culling orc strongholds to prevent them from joining Korthal's armies.

Warriors go to orc encampments and slay as many orcs as possible, gather knowledge, take prisoners,  and anything of interest that the scriers may use. Search the bodies of any orcs you kill.
